Òtima localização, bem perto das Ramblas e outros pontos turísticos. Hotel muito grande, limpo e bonito. Excelente café da manhã, bom atendimento. Internet grátis e ilimitada. Só houve um problema: o check in é muito tarde, às 15:00 h, cheguei às 14:40 h e tive que aguardar 20 minutos.

Recomendo o Astoria. Fica muito bem localizado, em uma área muito segura e tranquila, proximo à estação Diagonal do metrô, da Passeig de Gracia, rua conhecida pelas lojas famosas e tudo mais. Fui muito bem atendido no hotel, os funcionários me auxiliaram, inclusive, com demandas extra-hotel, como me ajudaram a conseguir retirar um ingresso para o jogo do barcelona, por exemplo. O banheiro é amplo, o quarto é silencioso, os atendentes foram simpaticos sempre que precisei. Mas, o principal mesmo, é a localização, na minha opiniao. Facilita demais o acesso a toda Barcelona, uma área nobre, muito boa. Recomendo!

Apart from an understaffed front desk on check in, (one shouldnt wait 5mins in line in a 5star hotel) and our room not ready for a requested noon check in the hotel was great. Very nice amenities and linens.... great service on check out... fabulous location.

"Great location....but"
We had a small room and it was pretty expensive. Given that, I expected really good service and was disappointed. We had to move to another room one night since the pay TV wouldn't work. They took us to a few rooms before they found one that worked. Most top hotels would comp a movie after that ordeal but that didn't happen. In the move we left our […] camera in our first room and it never showed up again. I go to hotels in San Francisco often and the service and value are much better there. I guess I'm a bit spoiled. "Definite 5 Star"
Great hotel property Room and beds waere really comfortable. Great "rain" shower head. Lots of english language television stations. Front desk and concierge staff solved problems every time. Everything about Le Merdian is 5 Star, including the price, but you get what you pay for.
"Great Location"
The location of this hotel can't be beat! More importantly, the staff service was a tremendous help. When the lost our bags, the concierge spent the entire day tracking them down for us, and arranged to have them delivered at the hotel's expense after the airlines refused to do so. Hats off to what I consider above and beyond service!

"Perfect location"
This hotel is in the best possible location, right on Las Ramblas. It was easy to access restaurants, points of interest, shopping, and the subway system. The hotel staff was friendly, and the rooms were very large (by European standards). We would definitely recommend this hotel, and would love to stay here on our next trip to Barcelona!

The Meridian is in a great location, the room was well appointed, the front desk staff very gracious and the overall experience was wonderful. The first night the air conditioner made a banging noise,so the next morning we called to have it repaired. The service tech arrrived within 5 minutes and when we returned later that day the noise was gone and […] the room was much cooler. The rain shower was very relaxing after a long day of sight seeing. "Avoid Le Meridien Barcelona"
For a 4-star hotel, one would expect the level of comfort to meet or exceed that of home. However, Le Meridien Barcelona was neither. We stayed on the 4th floor, and we would be awakened by the plumbing-related noises at all times of the night/morning. Which is a total surprise considering its a Starwood hotel. Quite a disturbing experience!

"As relaxed and modern as Barcelona itself"
Though I was just there for one night using my free rewards night, I found the hotel staff to be very respectful and helpful. This kind of hotel would ordinarily be well out of the pricerange of a college student like myself, so I dont have the same field of reference as some of the yuppy types that are used to these accomodations (no offense reader), […] but I can tell you I was impressed. Very shiek design, well lit, wonderful down spread and pillow, flatscreen TVs in the bedroom AND bathroom. Best shower Ive ever taken. Las Ramblas might be a little touristy and dangerous for the more seasoned traveler - really looking to escape, but its also a great taste of the city and I felt plenty safe despite the proximity. You get a free visit to the contemporary art museum as well with your stay. Problems? Too far from the beach and their pay-per-view pornography was overpriced (for the lonely business man) Leia mais

We loved this hotel and the location was perfect. Our only complaint was the price of breakfast was too high so we chose not to eat any meals here.
"Terribly overpriced for quality"
Our room was fairly clean but well-worn and poorly maintained. The plastic bath tub did not drain properly, the hand-held shower head sprung a leak, the 2 lavatory faucets were plastic,one was broken and the other broke during our visit, the shower rod was so rusted on top it ruined the clothes we rinsed out and placed there for drying, the grout in […] the tile around the bath was either missing or mildewed, carpet had large bleached out spots. The staff was courteous and always ready to help, particularly Ricardo-the concierge on duty during most of our stay; the room was clean; the bed was comfortable; and we were within walking distance of many attractions. "Fabulous, ergonomic paradise"
Most comfortable bed and linens ever. Plenty of mirrors, surfaces and places to put things. Awesome, high tech lighting including motion detector night lights. Heavenly shower and great sink vanity. Will always stay at Le Meridien when in Barcelona!

"Star of the Rambla!"
Le Meridien is an excellent hotel that lived up to its five stars. We arrived late and were treated courteously, shown to our room on the first floor, which turned out to be a double, having requested a twin. However, the staff responded promptly, were extremely aplogetic and we were given another room within minutes which overlooked the fabulous Rambla. […] My 23 yr old daughter relished the views this gave her and every morning we were treated to the excitement of the city waking up - living statued making up, stall holders setting out wares etc. For city lovers, it was paradise. And despite its position over a busy thoroughfare, the noise level was not excessive - double glazing fairly good. The ambience of the hotel bar was friendly and welcoming, again with attentive staff and spotless facilities. In fact, we could not fault this hotel in any way. One small issue - we woke one morning to find water leaking through thte bathroom ceiling - clearly someone above us had a flood! Again staff attended within minutes of calling, deallt witht the problem and as there was a slight risk of furhter leaking we were offered a new room. (We chose not to take up the offer as we didn't want to lose our fab view but it was great that we were offered this) We would both return to this hotel and I would highly recommend it. "loud location, rude staff"
the concierge was not friendly and the staff at the front desk was generally rude and not very friendly, especially considering the high rating of the hotel. The location is very central, but is also very loud. I recommend a pair of ear plugs for light sleepers
"Individual room temperature controls would be helpful"
Excellent location! Only complaint was the room was uncomfortably warm. Entire hotel was "on the heat system" (as opposed to the cooling system) due to time of year (Feb), so individual room temperatures couldn't be moderated. (I believe this might be common with most if not all European hotels.) We opened the window frequently for relief but were not […] comfortable sleeping with it open. "Le Meridien - supert hotell"
flott hotell, optimal beliggenhet for deg som skal til barcelona for å shoppe og/eller oppleve byen. Ligger midt i la rambla og ca 50 meter unna den største shoppinggata i byen. Trygt og relativt rolig område. Passer for alle typer reisende. vi hadde en bra opplevelse, og kommer gjerne tilbake.

Bodde i veldig fin junior-suite, men vi ble plaget av mye støy fra naborommet. Dette p.g.a. at det var dør mellom suitene.Denne var tydeligvis IKKE støydempet. Veldig plagsomt. Anbefaler andre å bestille rom UTEN dør mellom rommene.

Fin beliggenhet i en sidegate ved La Rambla. Til tross for et yrende liv i nevnte hovedgate døgnet rundt, hørte vi ikke en lyd fra rommet. Stive priser i minibaren, men det er laget til god plass i kjøleskapet for medbrakte varer. (Supermarked 50 meter fra hotellet)

"Great hotel - extremely well located"
We spent 4 nights at this hotel during april. It had a great location, which meant we didn't have to use metro for the first 2 days. It was a bit pricy though, but definitely worth the money if you can find a good bargain

Changement de chambre à 2h00 du matin à cause d'un énorme cafard "vivant" trouvé dans la salle de bain !!! Refaire ses valises en pleine nuit pour regagner une autre chambre de moins bon standing. Non merci
