Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers - Chicago

It is a Grate and Charming Hotel. Good location, good service and food! Parking is too expensive!

This hotel is within walking distance of many major tourist attractions. It was super clean and the staff was friendly and informative. Would stay again and will recommend to friends.

Beware of the staff here. They are rude, not helpful and do not accommodate. I travel for business 200 days out of the year and have stayed many other sheratons in the continental United States. All I can say is my reservation was booked wrong, special requests were ignored (scoffed at actually, all I asked was for a room not next to the elevator) and […] when I asked them to make amends they looked at me like I had never been in a hotel before despite showing them my hard copy of my reservation and the book date. The staff claimed it was due to a wedding in the hotel, however after speaking with another hotel official I came to find out that only 50 guests were using rooms for the wedding, in a 200 plus room hotel. Bottom line is try the Swiss or the Wit where they actually live up to the top notch service promise. Leia mais

A great hotel for the family! Very kid-friendly, spacious lobby and seating areas. Close to all of the great shopping on Michigan Ave. and close to Navy Pier and Millennium Park too.

I specifically chose this hotel because it is dog-friendly without all the ridiculous pet fees like so many of the nicer hotels have. The hotel was beautiful, convenient, clean, and genuinely pet-friendly. I would definitely stay here again without question.

This is a beautiful hotel with very friendly, efficient staff. My room however had a stain on the comforter and the tub backed up while I showered.

The hotel is bustling--good for tourists and business people and lots of weddings, etc. on the weekend. So pretty crowded, waits for elevator. Our floor was newly redone and the room was lovely. Only hiccup was that due to the prepay stay via Hotels.com, there was a 30 minute wait for them to clear up the block on the in-room movie (making my sleepy […] 9-year old wait and wait to watch "Rio"). We booked this hotel for New Year's Eve because it's near Navy Pier with a view of the fireworks. That being said, it didn't work out as planned. First of all, check in time is 3:00, we arrived at 3:45, and the room wasn't ready until 6:00! They said they couldn't help it because of the holiday, but they market the hotel as a holiday destination, knew […] they were totally booked, and should have been prepared. Because of this, we were late for our dinner reservation, which put a damper on the whole evening. Then, the "view" of the fireworks was simply a reflection of them off the other buildings! I arrived to hotel december 24th until 29th. the hotel was perfect, perfect location, perfect rooms, super perfect view. but, I Found a musulman congress in the hotel. they were 6000 person inside. that was imposible to walk, to take the elevator. We went around the holidays and it was decorated beautifully! They have free shuttles around the city and great buffet on weekends. It was pricey for me- but worth every cent!

Check in was a mess. 6:30 pm and had to wait in line almost 25 minutes to check in. Only 2 peolpe working desk and was spent 20 minutes dealing with a customer that did not like his view??? Once I finally got waited on it was 5 minutes to give me a room. I had a reservation on my credit card??? The hotel was very clean and well kept. The only thing that I could say is that the Concierge was not very helpful.

I had a problem with my luggage and Valet parking. I was checking out over the phone.. Guest services told me that I could leave my luggage in the room and that they would take the luggage to my car for me as I wanted to walk around Chicago for awhile and come back to get my car from valet parking since i had paid the parking for the day. Came back […] and my luggage wasnt in my car. Called guest services they said that I was supposed to wait in my room for someone to pick up the luggage. I was told that I could leave and that my luggage would be waiting in my car when I called the forst time and they said I couldnt have spoke to anyone that eveyone knows better than that in the hotel.. basically called me a lier... Why would I leave my luggage in a room that I just checked out of???? Especially when my luggage had my expensive camera and cam corder and clothes personal items. I had someone go to the room with me and there was my luggage thank god right where I left it... That was rediculous. Other than that it was a nice stay. The room wasnt quite as fancy as the rest of the hotel though. Kind of old time decor and small. But it was very clean. Not sure if I would stay there again though... Room was dirty and wasnt ready in time. They never cleaned the room when they gave it to us.

The room was very clean and the bed was so so comfortable. The view of the river at night was breathtaking.

The entire staff was wonderful and extremely accomodiating

Arrived early in the morning on checkin day to leave our bags at the front desk, but they had rooms available and checked us in early. Concierge was helpful, and room was clean with all fixtures in good working order. We were pleased! Only wish we could have had access to the jacuzzi included in the price.

excellent location, cleanliness very good no problems at all, very enjoyable stay, only downside was no free wifi available in rooms but other than that highly reccomended

Wow! Our party rented 3 rooms for the Holiday weekend. Check in was fast, friendly, efficient and accommodating. The rooms were clean and generous in size. Views were amazing. The only issue is how expensive drinks were at the bar! Great bar that sat pretty empty on New Years weekend because the drinks cost too much! Like the hotel room where nice and comfortable. The pool was small and no hot tub near poolarea. Would've like more restaurant choices within the hotel. Overall had a great experience.

Sorry to tell you this but I have stay in sheraton hotels before but I haven't seen anything like this.............they never ever vacuum the room in the 6 days we stay in Chicago Sheraton, and when we ask for someone to come and have a look at the T.V. because it wasn't working NO ONE CAME OVER, thank god my husband got it to work after 2 days, I did […] call them few times and when we needed to used the internet in the Coffee Restaurant where they have some computer was no one to help. I think they have to UPGRADE THE BATHROOMS, no good mirrors and the curtain shower I haven't seen one since I was a child and I'm 53 year old. just in one word DISAPPOINTED Leia mais

every thing was poor, i wish i could chnage the hotel they were so bad,there was crowded and not clean . advise for hotels .com dont deal with them any more.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff is helpful and friendly. We travel with dogs and there were no extra fees for having them with us! Some of the other hotels in Chicago have large pet fees. We will go back if we can without a doubt.

Great location to all downtown activities. Both in house restaurants are excellent. Rooms were quiet and the beds are extremely comfortable (like being in my own bed). Great service from all staff.

My daughter and I stayed at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers over the New Year's weekend. It was the most affordable hotel for that time period, but the quality of the hotel, the service, and the location were the best we've had! The location […] is tops, walking distance to Grant Park, Michigan Avenue, Navy Pier, and more. Convenient to public transportation as well. Water view = WOW

We went to the Sheraton in downtown Chicago Xmas night. There was a conference in the hotel so it was rocking! but the staff was attentive and helpful. We could walk everywhere and the kids LOVED the pool. Big kudos to the staff: My kids left my brand new Amazon Kindle in the lobby. Seven hours and two states later on the trip home, we figured it out […] and called. Someone had turned it in and the staff sent it out Fex Ex that night. Thanks, Sheraton folks! Leia mais

This hotel is conveniently located to eateries, shopping, Navy Pier and Michigan Ave. We were able to walk to anywhere we wanted to. When we walked into the hotel we thought the lobby was very nice. The room we stayed in was spacious with a great view and a comfortable bed. The TVs were great with what I thought was an HD picture. We had an errant item […] on our bill and we took it to the front desk and it was removed immediately. We also requested a roll away bed and extra pillow and the request was filled quickly. Everything about our 4 day/night experience at this hotel was great. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone else looking to stay in downtown Chicago. Leia mais

We have stayed here many times before and would truly recommend it. This time though, there were strange electronic issues. We had to switch rooms several times because the phones and tv's were not working - it took four rooms before they were able to get it right.

Let me preference this by saying IT WAS NEW YEAR'S EVE. I didn't expect much for the price of the room, so that was OK. I didn't expect much for maid service, so that was OK. But Gee Whiz, I couldn't even get a complimentary bottle of water. 6.00 for water, are you kidding me? The refrigerator was locked upon entrance so we couldn't use it and I couldn't […] find a service person to speak English. However, I didn't go for the room. Travelers beware. This hotel will charge your card with so many holds and not tell you.

Hotel Is Very Clean and in a great location for seeing the city. There were two things I didn't Like about this hotel. Frist was the parking you either pay for vallet parking per night or they use a parking garage and you are charged per night. The second thing I didn't care for wasthey charged you to connect to their internet service.

The convention that was scheduled at the time I was there consumed the hotel. There was little attention given to the guest who were not connected with the convention. Common areas were not maintained to the standard I expected. The common facilities were not available to all guest, i.e. lobby.

Spent 3 nights in this hotel. It is located in the very downtown Chicago. Walking distance to Navy Pier and many other Chicago Attractions. Rooms are standard size, clean and well equipped. Only downside is they don't come with a free to use refrigirator. I myself travel with medication that needs to be stored on cool temperatures and usually there […] is one but this hotel didn't have it. Tho, there was an option to get one for a 25$ fee. The following items were on the floor between the elevator and my room door (17th floor) and in my room: loose peanuts, two spoons, cookie crumbs (on my pillow), seven cents (behind the chair in my room) and a sweetner packet (on the bathroom floor). Housekeeping needs attention! Otherwise, a nice hotel.

Excellent bed and pillows. Very fast elevators. Repeated requests for unsealing of our mini-bar went unanswered, so we did without. The hotel staff misplaced one of our bags and delivered it to our room an hour late - good thing we didn't need the contents right away! The hotel itself is in a great area for restaurants, bars and many of the important business buildings in downtown Chicago. Easy access to other streets, taxis, and even the Architecture tour make this s great all around place to stay.
