Comfort Suites Downtown - Buffalo 42.89024, -78.87295

4 of us were staying in 2 rooms just for one night, the hotel has adequate off site parking. Inside the hotel seems a bit jaded and grubby, with the carpts of the corridors very dirty!!!! The rooms were fine, nice and spacious, but again very old fashioned. That said we all had a great night sleep, although it was a tuesday night!! The hotel was a below average and was served on plastic plates with plastic cutlery. All in all it was ok value for the price, you get a comfortable room for what you pay but dont be expecting too much!!

I like the Comfort Suites Downtown (Buffalo, NY) for it's convenient location and the room layout (I believe every room is actually a suite). I've stayed here for work on several locations, but this time was for pleasure and even though they provide a complimentary continental breakfast, I don't feel the overall value matched the expense.

While the hotel is clean, the staff courteous, and the rooms comfortable, this hotel is too close to the Buffalo bar scene. A drunk from another room woke us up pounding on our door at 4am and then the noise on the streets as Buffalo bars closed filled our room for another half hour. Parking is two blocks from the hotel.

I live about an hour away from the city and chose to stay here overnight because I had a birthday party to attend at a bar on Chippewa. The price was reasonable (far less expensive than a DWI would be) for one night and the hotel is located convienantly close, within a short walking distance, to all of the bars downtown. I would not, however, recommend eating at the TGIF's downstairs. We had dinner there before heading out and it was awful. However, it had just come under new management - so that may have affected the quality.

Except for the tarantula in the room, no real surprises, but time for a rethink. (Torn bed skirt, dirty bathtub, burned-out light, chair too low for the desk, wifi didn't reach, etc.) The restaurant downstairs, TGI Friday's, had no bar, since they forgot to file for their license renewal! Maybe downtown Buffalo is not where you want to stay.

Great location, comfortable room loved the staff but the parking situation isn't the best.....

very nice room, more than adequate room, conveniently locate to just about everything. The only thing I would correct was the tub was cracked. I would definitely stay there again. Hotel staff was very pleasant and accomodating. Food at TGI Friday's was, as usual, fantastic.

I loved the fact that all of the bars and night clubs are at a walking distance since i'm not from buffalo i was very pleased.

This hotel has potential but.... The king suite was outstandingly comfortable and well designed, minus the filth in the bathroom. Our tub/shower was visibly dirty and slimy. The drain didn't work properly leaving a pool of dirty, gross water. The elevators had an odd smell, and the TGI Fridays restuarant's food was sub-par. I don't know if this was just an off night for this hotel or if this is the standard. There were a number of homeless gents wandering and hanging outside of the hotel as well. If all of this can be changed or tolerated, then the room would be great.

The room was good, service decent, but the parking is non-existent. You have to park several blocks away unless you happen to be lucky enough to grab one of ten spaces available on the grounds. I was also troubled a bit by the area it was located in. I suspect it's a rather high crime area which makes the parking even more critical.

The hotel is a bit shabby very surprisig considering the location
