A proximidade do hotel da linha de Metro, a partir da qual poderá ter acesso a todos os locais de interesse em Berlim. Gentileza dos funcionários da recepção em facultarem-nos dois guarda-chuva para podermos visitar a cidade (tempo instavel).

Um hotel original de muito bom gosto, num sitio calmo mas à duas paragems de metro de uma praça central de Berlim, pessoal de hotel cordial e competente, quarto bom (camas confortaveis) com o basico e algumas surpresas. dois pontos a melhorar: o pequeno almoço continental podia ser mais baratinho, pois acabei por ir a padaria ou mercearia. A opção p.a. buffet vale a pena experimentar uma vez pois é completissimo e faz de almoço! Mais canais em lingua Inglesa ajuda em noites de chuva. Programas dobrados em Alemão exepto noticias ...)

Got a very good room rate through internet sites, better than offered on the hotel's own website which are about double. This hotel is quite popular and books fast, especially on weekends. "Upstalsboom Hotel - Berlin"
We had an enjoyable time in Berlin..it was a trip down memory lane as we lived there for 2 years in the 70's, it was also my 60th Birthday treat. The hotel was excellent, if a little far away from the bustle of the city. We hired a car so it wasn't a problem for us. We really missed not having tea/coffee making facilities in our room, I guess that is […] what you get for a budget deal and the price of the water was extortionate. "Good hotel at the right price"
A very good hotel with all relevant facilities. Very large breakfast buffet, and own parking cellar. 10 minutes walk to nearest U-bahn, and only 5 minutes to large restaurant area. No problems at all.

I was thoroughly impressed with this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and clean, and the free breakfast was amazing. "Romantic Night in Friedrischain"
Very clean. Very well managed and staffed. Fantastic breakfast. It was the first night after our wedding and my wife told them over the phone that it was our "mini moon" break before heading back to London. They threw in snacks and nibbles, fruits and a bottle of sparking wine. Extremelly appreciated! Hotel was excellent. Well situated for the tram and the underground was less than 10 mins walk away with easy access direct to Alexander Platz (.only 4 stops) The staff were very helpful and friendly . Lots of choices for breakfast, plentiful and was constantly being replenished. Our only problem was that there was no air conditioning available in the […] room and whislt we were there it was exceptionally hot so it was a little uncomfortable at night. "Hotel Freidrichshain great hotel"
My wife daughter and I stayed three nights between 31/5/11and 2/6/11, and I must say we enjoyed our stay. The hotel has good facilites, including a sauna which we used at the end of a days sightseeing. The room was clean and comfortable . Breakfasts are buffet and there is plenty of choice however if you want a "proper" english you may be disappointed,they […] have scrambled egg sausages and meatballs.We found plenty to fill up on though. The staff were pleasant and attentive . The roof terrace is a pleasant place to sit on a warm evening with its patio furniture. The surrounding area looks a bit run down with plenty of graffitti but there are some great little restaurants nearby.The local rail station has both s bahn and u bahn access to both the airport and the city centre. I would recommend the Berlin welcome card which can be purchased on flights or berlin info shops, the three of us had unlimited travel all around Berlin and to and from the airport. You also get around 25% discuount on attractions and museums. Great place to stay I would return to this hotel Ler mais

Lovely hotel, clean, tidy,smart. 10mins walk to main underground then easy to get to centre, airports etc. Great spread for breakfast! Very pleased with the Easter egg left for us outside our room!

The hotel staff was exceptionally helpful and the room was very clean. The hotel price represented an outstanding deal considering the excellent breakfast that was included and free wifi in the lobby. "very nice indeed!!!"
The hotel is very close to the train station and was very easy to find (even though it was dark when i got there). The area feels very safe and, to be fair, didn't have anyone that resembled anything other than a normal person walking about. The hotel itself was really nice at the reception. It took about 1 minute to check in and the lady spoke good […] English and was very friendly. The room itself was modern, exceptionaly clean and tidy and had the appearance you expeceted to find in a much higher priced hotel. I would rcm'd this place to anyone wanting to stay in a good/cool location (lots of students etc) with lots of good bars nearby, really safe (confirmed by my local friend) which also has the train station nearby to travel about the city effortless. "Upstalsboom Hotel Friedrichshain: a great choice"
The hotel is only five minutes' walk from the S-bahn station at Warschauer Strasse and even closer to tram stops. It is modern, clean and welcoming. Our room was spacious, well-equipped (microwave, sink, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, crockery and cutlery, fax machine, remote control colour TV) and great value. En suite had a good shower but no bath. […] The much-praised breakfast was superb, with everything from yoghurt, cereals and fresh fruit to sausages, miniburgers and scrambled eggs, cold meats and fish, pastries and bread. The restaurant offered excellent cuisine throughout the day and the staff were extremely helpful. Berlin's public transport is efficient and reasonably priced if you buy a pass rather than individual tickets. A seven-day ABC zone pass (taking you from Schoenfeld airport to the city and out to Potsdam in the east) is 32 euros, which works out at less than £4 a day. Anybody interested in 20th century history will be spoilt for choice. Highlights of our stay were watching Hertha Berlin at the Olympic Stadium (those Germans certainly know how to clap and chant in unison), being given a free talk at the Reichstag (English-language tours on Tuesday mornings; book in advance at the front office); and seeing Divine Comedy at the Lido on Cuvrvy Strasse, a 15-minute walk from the hotel. The Botanical Gardens and the Garden der Weldt will delight horticulturalists. A boat trip on the Spree is best taken with a guide rather than an audio recording because the commentary is pretty basic. Museums are everywhere but one of the best is the DDR Museum, which traces the rise and fall of East Germany. Good for children and adults. And if you like chocolate visit the Rittersport shop near the Brandenburg Gate, where the almost limitless products are about half what they cost in Britain. Shopping can be expensive (when you get only 1.15 euros to the pound) but there are bargains to be had in the huge C&A stores. My wife and I will certainly return to Germany's cap Ler mais

well located on a quiet street in what was East Berlin, but only a couple of minutes walk to some lively nightlife. Close to public transport. My only quibble was not enough towels and no bath, must be the green agenda. Great self service breakfast to set you up for the day, hugh choice of cereals, fruits, breads, cold meat, cheese and much more and […] for the traditionalists there was rashers, sausage and scrambled egg! "Good Hotel - Shame About the HEAT"
Would recomend this hotel BUT only in the cooler months. No air conditioning a huge problem in July. We had to keep the window open at night as the room was like a sauna, this itself presented problems as the hotel is in a residential area and was very noisy. Breakfast very good.

"Nice hotel"
when we arrived we went to our room, standard room on the first floor over looking the front of the hotel, That night we couldnt sleep due to th noise outside?? The following morning we asked to be moved to another room and the hotel kindly moved us to a room at the rear of the hotel. The staff were very nice and the restaurant was Ok.

Not a bad place. Lack of air-conditioning was a disappointment. Breakfast was very good to excellent. Not a very convenient neighborhood.

I was only there for three nights but I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. The hotel was spotless and the hotlel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast although being mainly continental(as you would expect)there was a great variety to choose from.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now and both times I've been very impressed. The area is great- very near many shops and restaurants. The East Side Gallery is walkable from the hotel. "Perfect for eating out and for getting around Berlin"
Room was quiet & comfortable and the hotel is close to the train which comes in from Berlin Schoenfeld airport. Really great area for food & drink. The hotel also gives you a massive selection for breakfast and have free bicycles for hotel guests. Their roof top terrace is nice too if it's sunny out.

"Upstalsboom Hotel Friedrichshain - godt valg"
Upstalsboom hotel ligger rigtig godt i en hyggelig bydel af Berlin, men rigtigt godt miljø, gode cafeer, restauranter og barer. Det er kun at gå på opdagelse. Der er kun 3 km til centrum. U-banen er ca. 800 meter fra hotellet. Hotellets morgenmad er helt uovertruffet. Almindelige værelser, med hvad man behøver. Vi vender meget gerne tilbage.

Flott hotell! Området det ligger i er rolig og stille, både natt&dag. Personalet snakker meget bra engelsk, frokosten er FANTASTISK, og gode drinker i baren. Nærme både S-bahn, U-bahn og tram. Eneste minus var at kjøp av wi-fi tilkobling på rommet var dyrt, og da vi bodde i 6.etasje virket ikke hotspot så lang opp.....

Lækkert hotel, eneste anke er, at klimaanlægget ikke fungerer, hvis der er et klimaanlæg. Alt for varmt og meget tung luft.

Et godt, kultiveret, roligt hotel i et af Berlins hyggeligste kvarterer, - og tæt ved sporvogn og U-Bahn. Jeg regner bestemt med at komme igen.

For 8. gang boede vi på Upstalsboom - og vi har endnu ikke været utilfredse med noget. Alt er meget tilfredsstillende, og personalet er yderst venligt. Selvom hotellet ligger i en bydel præget af lidt alternative personer, er der altid meget hyggeligt og specielt de små beværtninger tæt på hotellet er et besøg værd. "Kjempegod frokost, uti ingenmannsland"
En av de bedre hotell frokostene vi har hatt, men skygg unna middag på samme hotell. Den var dårligere enn den dårligste veikroa vi har spist på. Oppgraderte til suite uten at vi fikk noe igjen for det, bortsett fra etstørrerom. Tv en på rommet er bitteliten, her er ikke vannkoker, tøfler,morgenkåpe etc, kort sagt lite ekstra. Gode senger og bra rengjøring. Svindyrt […] bredbånd og en beliggenhet som ikke er noe særlig. Ingenting rett rundt hotellet, men en god del barer og smårestauranter noen hundre meter unna, men det er i Øst Berlin og de fleste av de var rimelig slitne. Midt imellom to U-Bahn stasjoner, er ikke praktisk når man kommer med flere bæreposer. Taxi pris fra flyplassen, 30 euro. Har bodd mye i Tyskland og Berlin og vi kommer ikke til å velge denne kjeden igjen, styr unna og velg noe annet. Ler mais

"Die Nähe zur o2-Arena war uns wichtig"
Zimmer und Service waren in Ordnung; Aufbettung war komplikationslos und kostenfrei möglich - super! Allerdings war für das Abendessen das Restaurant zu klein, nicht alle Gäste haben einen Platz bekommen und der Service war wirklich nicht gut. Wir wurden erst nach ca. 20min bedient und mussten das Personal auffordern, an unseren Tisch zu kommen. Dabei […] wurden nur Getränke serviert, Buffet war sehr gut. Ler mais

"Kvalitet til rimelige penge"
Dejlige store rummelige værelser. Brusebad ikke karbad. Fantastisk morgenbuffet med alt hvad hjertet begærer. Meget tæt på S-bahn, U-bahn og sporvogne. Meget venlig og hjælpsom personale. God parkeringskælder. Stille område ingen larm.
Der Service ist sehr freundlich, das Hotel sauber, das Zimmer auch sauber, ausreichend aber etwas sachlich. Trotz einiger Stehlampen war die Beleuch- tung am Schreibtisch recht dunkel. Frühstücksbüffet äußerst umfangreich und gut. Essen im Restaurant war in Ordnung, schmackhaft, stimmte aber nicht ganz mit der Angabe auf der Speisekarte überein.
