O hotel praticamente não tem nada ao redor, só um 7/11 que quebra bem o galho. Porém é muito rápido se deslocar de lá até qualquer lugar de carro; exceto Nova Iorque - pegue o trem. O quarto é limpo e confortável e os funcionários são educados. O café da manhã é simples, mas resolve. Pelo valor, vale a pena com certeza.

our room was very nice. we had a heating problem. it was so hot in our room. maintenance came right up and fixed the problem. they later called back to make sure everything was ok. the suite was big and clean. the layout was rally nice. the price was great and so was the location. i would stay again in the near future i am sure.
Overpriced for what you get. Even though the rooms are called suites, they are really just regular sized NYC hotel rooms with a wall in them to separate off the bed area, which makes the actual living space even smaller.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our hotel. I'm sorry to hear if you have felt that the room was expensive and regular sized. We are the only all suite hotel in Times Square area, and our rooms are bigger than majority of hotels in NYC. While I know you have many choices in NYC, I sincerely hope that you will consider staying with us again. We were very happy with our recent stay at the Double Tree Suites in NYC. The room was very comfortable and spacious and clean. The location was great. Plan extra time to store luggage if you get there before check-in.

Fantastic location and one of the few around Times Square with a two room sleeping arrangement. Staff were very friendly and professional. Rooms and public space was clean. Good value for the price!

"pre thanksgiving week"
Excellent in the heart of everything inthe city that doesn't sleep. Recommend high floors when possible. Here on business. It's a Hilton property. Need I say more? Everything was terrific.
"Short one night stay"
We only stayed from 9pm-9am, so we didn't get a full use of the hotel, but it was fine. We had a room facing Times Square and my kids loved looking out over the city. It was the day before Thanksgiving, so there was a lot of street noise, but we figured that going in. We had a nice stay.

The DoubleTree Suites by Hilton in New York City is perfect for the couple that wants to be in the middle of all the excitement of Broadway. It is not plush, but comfortable, especially the two room suites that they feature...which everyone else should. "DoubleTree TimesSquare - good location, good value"
We stayed with our 16 year old son. Easy to get to from Port Authority Newark Airport bus dropoff. Clean comfortable hotel in a great spot across street from TKTS booth and close to all theatres. Great to have a separate bedroom and living area. Kitchenette very basic & coffeemaker not much use for tea. No plates or cutlery but refrigerator and microwave. * nice hotel with great location * walking distance from teathers, movies, ice-hockey stadium, shops ... but make sure that you have comfortable shoes with you * if you don't want to walk it's easy to use subway or taxi to get around

"Young kids in the Big Apple"
Slap bang in the middle of Times Square, a little hectic at times stepping out the front door with small kids but our room was a real haven in the city. We were in one of the King size/higher up rooms - no street sounds at all. Our 7 and 4 year old sons thoroughly enjoyed their room (we had the bedroom and they had the pull out sofa) and the microwave, […] larger fridge and second sink were perfect for a family. The kids were a bit too small to really enjoy all the neighbourhood had to offer but lots of trips to toy shops (Toys r Us 50 yds down the road) and walks in Central Park (playgrounds, zoo, leaf collecting, squirrel chasing) were perfect. As were the Natural History Museum, the Intrepid, FAO Schwartz and the small but amazing Evolution shop in Soho. Yes, we spent a fortune but at least the hotel's midtown location made most things affordable by taxi. Will return when the kids are a few years older to make the most of Broadway/Times Square buzz. "Nice, but expensive for what you get."
The location, and service is great. But you pay for the location. I don't think it's worth the cost. There are other nicer hotels in the vicinity for a lesser amount. Due to a flight cancellation, I had to get a room for 2 more nights. Coulfnt afford that at thier rates. I had to go to another hotel. It was a block away from Times Square; really nice […] and spacious room (for New York), and I was able to stay 2 nights for the price of one at Doubletree. "Time square stay"
The rooms are a bit over rated. The service was good and you need to be aware that you are in the heart of Time Square. If you are into massive amounts of humanity all the time, you are at the right place. Rooms were a bit dated and not as large as the photos make them seem. All in all, not a bad place.

This hotel was a decent price for the fall season. I didn't feel it achieved the level described in some reviews but don't regret staying there for these reasons: 1) Great central location for Broadway & subway connections. I enjoy staying in different areas when I visit NYC; the last 2 visits I have seen more shows and found the TImes Sq area to be […] best since it can be hard to grab a taxi post-show. Sure it's touristy but the bright lights are fun esp to my young adult son. 2) The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. 3) The suite was nothing to write home about and seemed a little worn but it was clean. Great to have separate rooms and TVs since we did stay in one night after a tiring, rainy day out. 4) The bathroom was spacious. 5) Elevators were speedy. Might be nice to have comp. coffee in the a.m. but that's quibbling. In sum, a good value and nice hotel. No real charm but that's okay considering all the other positives. Leia mais
"Great location"
The hotel is perfectly located right in Times Square. I really can't find much to complain about at this hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to stay right in the middle of the action.

Excellent hotel, we'll go back. The only negative was the hotel wanted to charge $13 per day per device for Wifi access. It was free in the lobby however.

We have a wonderful experience at this hotel; staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Check in was easy as you can leave your bags with their staff until your room is ready. If you want to be in the middle of the action in New York City, this is the place to stay. You are steps away from all the theaters, the half-price TKTS booth, and hundreds of great restaurants. Great arrangements for a family. Parents get the privacy of a king-sized bedroom and the kids can sleep on the pull out sofabed. "DoubleTree Suites by Hilton NYC - Times Square"
Excellent location and extremely convenient to get around the city via the subway or on foot. I was able to walk to Central Park early in the morning as well as swinging to Fifth Avenue to shop. Highly recommend to stay because I would definitely stay there should I visit NYC again!

Very nice hotel in the heart of times square. The two room suite was excellent. Lots of space. Huge bathroom is a bonus for couples. Very pleased with the hotel, staff and location.

Excellent location! Right in the middle of Times Square. We could see the ball drop from our window - if it had been new years eve! The check in staff was very friendly and professional. The room and bathroom were clean and modern. The subway was 1/2 block away, and we were surrounded by fabulous restraunts! The best hotel stay in New York yet!

I would highly recommend this hotel especially since Times Square is right outside the main entrance. The rooms are clean AND comfortable. In addition, the hotel's decor is modern & chic. More attention is needed to dusting room accents such as lamp shades. This could be resolved by weekly assesments of such details. As a result, I rated room cleanliness […] as a 4. Otherwise, the bathroom (which is a BIG factor for me) was clean & modern, the room was FREE of any smell/sight of mold/mildew. Most importantly, NO bed bugs. The location is great in terms of convenience. I walked to most of my destinations which saved on cost of transportation. In terms of service, I was very satisfied w/ the staff. They were personable, friendly & accommodating. Regarding safety, the doormen only permit entrance to patrons only after certain times in the evening. The hotel location is very good. The service and breakfast are also OK. The sofa bed in the suite is horrible due to bed springs and thin mattress. Three guys wanted tip for laguage storing and handling.

Great hotel and great location - if you want to be in the middle of everything. Right across from the Tkts Booth - convenient to all theaters, etc. Very nice staff and nice rooms. Much bigger than what you would normally expect from a NYC hotel.

The Double Tree was such a wonderful hotel and provided such a great stay for my daughters and myself. I travel to NYC for business every 2 months and have stayed at so many hotels, but I have to say that from now on, I will be staying at the Double Tree! Upon check in, the staff was very friendly and the room was ready early. There was a chef in the […] lobby making crab cakes and we were given warm cookies (nice touch). The room was clean and spacious. There was an extra fridge, coffee maker, and microwave! My daughter left her new Uggs in the room and we were contacted and they are shipping them to our home in vA. Also, the hotel is located smack in the heart of Times Square. Did I mention that it only took 10 minutes for valet to get our car???I really can't say enough good things about this hotel and can't wait to go back! Leia mais
