Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel - Londres 51.49929, -0.15799

The Lowndes is a good 4 star hotel, but service levels keep it well below 4.5 or 5 stars. Simple things, like not having a full time doorman or good room service dining, make it impossible to consider this a 5 star hotel. Borderline criminal charges for telecom services ($1.25/minute to call a TOLL FREE number; $1.50/minute for internet access) make it a poor choice for business travel. It was adequate, it was comfortable, but not the experience it should have been.

The rate booked included breakfast and internet use. At check out the hotel insisted to charge us extra. Only a printed copy of the reservation through hotels.com could prevent this overcharge.

Elegant small boutique hotel, superb service, nice amenities, great location, terrific restaurants nearby, but wish they had wifi in the rooms

Situated just off Knightsbridge in a quiet location makes this hotel the perfect place to stay when out shopping in London. We were happy to see that there actually is a thing called water pressure in London! Gone are the days with just dripping showers! Wonderful!

Excellent staff very attentive. room comfortable small basic but clean. restaurant was excellent but empty while we were there-excellent location-would stay there again

I was really looking forward to my stay at the Jumeirah hotel, I had it booked as an xmas present for my boyfriend. When we arrived I wasnt impressed with the exterior as I thought I was booking us into a luxurious 5star hotel for 2 nights and sadly the outside didnt live up to its rating. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. I booked an deluxe king guestroom and it was quite nice. The bathroom was tiny to say the least though and was freezing. We used the room heater and it worked sufficiently but any time we went away and came back again the room would be cold again and as the weather was very cold for the time we were there this made our stay slightly uncomfortable. I thought the hotels service charges were a joke and the price of drink and if your looking for somewhere with a bit of atmosphere "Don't stay here". Overall I was disappointed in the hotel for what I paid for it. I have stayed in 4star hotels in Ireland which were way ahead in every aspect.

Very nice stay, staff very friendly. Nice rooms. Extras bit expensive but it is the most expensive part of town. Handy for all the mega ladies shops 5 mins from Harrods, 2 mins from Sloane Street etc. Rooms were right up to date in furnishings and gadgets (TV coffee machine etc)

i enjoyed my stay in london in my last stay i have moved between 3 hotels one of them was awfull second one was great which was the marriott park late but i moved again becuase of the price was too high ..then i found what i want in Jumerah lownds hotel price and the conforet .the staff was very freindly helpfull and profesional . the only negative of this hotel was the lobby ..there was no lobby only a small hall which is about 15 square meter ...

Expensive but excellent service. The room was cleaner than my house! Everything you could possibly want was provided for in the room although any extras matched the 5 star price tag. Had breakfast out of the hotel at a cafe round the corner which was good value. Would definitely stay here again should funds allow. A real treat.

Jeg oppholdte meg på Jumeirah hotell 5 dager i påsken. Hotellet ble valgt utifra tidligere tilbakemeldinger og beliggenhet. Servicen, rommene og beliggenheten er upåklagelig. Rommet jeg valgte var ikke stort, men moderne, komfortabelt og rent. De ansatte er smilende, høflige og absolutt tilstede for deg. Det var heller ikke noe minus at man som gjest her har fri tilgang til det stilfulle business hotellet Jumeirah i Carlton Tower (100 meter unna) med sine fasciliteter. Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel anbefales på det varmeste!

Fantastisk service og nydelig hotell. 100m fra "hovedhotellet" til Jumeirah-kjeden i London og vi kunne bruke alle fasiliteter på hovedhotellet inklusive "The rib room" som er en veldig bra restaurant med høy sheik-faktor. Eneste å sette fingeren på var at selv med aircond.på fullt kunne det bli litt varmt. (Kanskje sheikene vil ha det slik...) Klart vi skal tilbake!

Midt i London og alikevel stille og rolig. Med fantastiske restauranter rett om hjørnet
