Sheraton Newark Airport Hotel - Newark

Every time I stay here, the service is excellent, all the staff is very courteous. An excellent experience.

For a Sheraton Hotel, this was one of the poorest quality hotel I've ever stayed at. After checking in to the hotel at 10:45, I checked the in-room information to see if I could order room service. There was none, and saw that food was only served in hotel restaraunt until 11:00. I rushed down to what was actually the bar, and ordered a 'Panino' that […] took 20 minutes and was cooked to cracker crisp...only ate the inside. Continued back to my room, found no water. Went to vending machines on 7 floors, everyone was 'sold out'. Finally went down to front desk where they escorted me to the fitness room, in where I put my money in the machine and it proceeded to give me a Hawaiian Punch. The hotel worker, the only good thing about the entire stay, offer to go find me water and bring it to my room. The next morning, I ordered coffee. The room service attendent brought no regular sugar. I request some be brought up to my room. After 45 minutes and 3 phone calls, I went down to the front desk to REQUEST sugar for my coffee. The 'manager' apologized and gave me some sugar. Then, when I was finally back to my room to get ready (as I had been waiting for my sugar and now I was late) a hotel worker finally had come to bring me sugar. Nice employees but my room overlooked a roof with what appeared to be a/c units. Appeared clean but one week after returning home I developed athlete's foot -- something I haven't had in more than 40 years. Next time I will have to bring lysol.

It smelled with the indoor pool, the staff was not helpful and they had internal drama that was intriguing but unprofessional, and the shuttle took forever to pick you up at the airport.

When i'm arrive in Newark airport, it was very easy to find the shuttle for go to the Hotel. About 5-10 minutes and it's free ! The hotel is very good, best rate / Quality. Beautiful hotel, lot of accomodation like the pool with the jacuzzi, the restaurant, and the room services. Very spacious room with all the thing includ (free bottle of water, tv, […] spacious bathroom ...). It was a very good experience, nothing to say about the service, and the employee. I have stayed at the Sheraton and airport Hilton. The Hilton is far and away the better place to stay.

good hotel for the price but not too much around and parking will cost you $18.00 a night

Hotel definitely served it's purpose of staying overnight for a flight. However if yu do not have a car, you are stuck in the hotel as there is nothing around there to walk to. Hair in the shower floor but room was good size and bed was nice. Staff a bit rude. Hung up on me.

Good rooms and cleanliness. Greedy guy driving the airport shuttle. Some of the staff in the reception was unfriendly. /GT

Stay was convenient and great. Not many places to order out so hope you like room service.

I had a pleasant experience there was only one issue which I was a little surprised by and that was the $18.00 parking surcharge, even for guests. Also when booking the room I saw that they had internet access but there was also a surcharge of $10 a day for that as well. Other than that the hotel was clean, staff courteous and helpful.

I would recommed this hotel to anyone. It was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was a little small though but thats hardly a complaint. You have to pay for internet and parking, as with most of the other hotels right around the airport. Fortunately, the receptionist helped me out and I got both for free. My boyfriend and I spent the night in New jersey after a concert at the prudential center. For the price paid we expected more, however, the cleanliness of the room was good and the location was also convenient. Unless you only like McDonalds, you will be traveling out of town to find a variety of foods.

This Hotel and was a great place to stay. The staff was very courteous and helpful. unfortunately the outer surroundings I didn't feel safe that I would want to get out of my car.

We arrived at the hotel at 1:30 a.m., after a very long day of travel. Our check-in took less than a minute. We were very pleased with the quality of the hotel and most importantly, the quality of our room. It was clean, modern, and comfortable. The shuttle service from and to the airport was excellent. We would certainly stay here again.

I loved everything about this hotel. I was going to stay another night in the city just because of the hotel, but could not.

The Sheraton at Newark Airport provided all of the amenities of a high quality hotel and the convenience to EWR airport for a next day flight. In addition, it was a good meeting spot for a last night three-generational gathering, which included a 10 year old. The restaurant/bar accommodated all three generations with a variety of food and the two adults […] with a well stocked bar. Shuttle service to the airport was efficient. To my surprise, hotel shuttle bus driver told me that he cannot send me to my targeted terminal when I took bus to airline. I had to tell him that I was willing to pay him some money. After we arrived at the terminal, he took the money and then told me that he would think the money I paid was tips since the shuttle bus actually was free to be used.

Prepaid my bill. Had to pay for parking which was not transparent and exhorbitant. Why not discount people staying at hotel???? Still being billed small amounts, which means I have to contact credit card company to determine reason.

customer service representative needs to be more polite to customers. parking for guests $20 a day is too expensive.

Hotel was good, but the staff at the front desk was not very welcoming. When I called from my room to request internet access she told me she would call me back - but didn't. Upon checkout I had an issue with the guy at the parking lot gate who was actually very nasty and rude. Otherwise it was a good hotel with good service. If you are driving to New York or renting a car, this hotel is great!! Rooms are huuuuuuge, very clean, confortable and you can not hear anything even with the airport close by I could see the planes but could not hear them. My room had the Manhatan view, really nice!! Staff are very friendly!! Indoor pool and jacuzzy plus the gym!! Concierge can arrange […] any tours you want, restaurant reservations etc!! I will be back. Leia mais

This everything you would not expect from a Sheraton Hotel. Everything is old and I don't think they care. I compare this hotel to a Days Inn with a higher rate.

I needed a place to crash for a night prior to moving to another hotel downtown Manhattan for a special event. I needed a place to rest mostly. The hotel customer service was fantastic. The bed comfortable and the room was large by NY standards. The only drawback was that there was nothing in easy walking distance for food, water etc. You could get […] an expensive taxi or go back to the airport and take a train or bus somewhere. I was just too tired to do that. So I arranged a quick ride to a 7-11 that was close to the airport. It worked for my needs. You can also have just about anything delivered to the hotel for a delivery fee. I would definitely stay again if needed. Leia mais

Very clean & comfortable rooms. Good shuttle service to and from airport.

Good hotel but expensive parking around eighteen bucks per night, no free wireless internet, no flat screen TV.

Three of us checked into the Sheraton Newark Airport Hotel to be near the airport for our daughter's early morning cross-country flight -- 7:15 a.m. It was very important to us that the hotel provide a convenient respite adjacent to the airport and that we be awakened in plenty of time to get there. When we checked in, we requested two wake-up calls […] -- at 5:30 and 5:45 a.m. -- for each of our two rooms: 917 and 919. The hotel reservations clerk assured us we would get these calls. The next morning, much to our chagrin and potential detriment, there were NO wakeup calls to EITHER room! Getting to the airport on time was the reason we booked this hotel. So it would be fair to say that the hotel failed us in a very serious manner. Fortunately, one of us inadvertently had left our cell phone alarm on, and it went off in time. Although this was the most serious problem with the hotel, we also suffered from a non-stop running toilet in room 919, hampering our rest. In addition, though these were nonsmoking rooms, there was a very obvious burnt black cigarette hole in the carpeting just outside the bathroom in room 919. We chose Sheraton over other available airport hotels because of the Sheraton chain's high reputation,. Clearly, we chose wrong. Leia mais

We like staying in this hotel. The room was nice even though the TV is an old CRT not the flat screen one. But it has channels for our kids. The beds and pillows are soft and comfy. The swimming pool and jacuzzi are nice (opens 10 AM - 10 PM). The only thing we don't like was that we have to pay for parking ($18 + tax per day).

Had the unfortunate experience of very noisy neighbours - not the hotel's fault, but the front desk/security were ineffective at responding to or dealing with repeated calls about the disturbance (including the fact that the whole hotel was evacuated because the rowdy neighbours set off the fire alarm at 1am). The AC sucks. Just didnt work. We were sweating in the room. Also, our reservation was for 2 nights, but the card worked only for one night and the second night our door did not open. We had to come down to the reception to reactivate the card. Thought Sheraton was a good hotel, but I feel I would have been better booking at either Marriott or Holiday […] Inn (where I usually stay). The room was very stuffy. We reduced temperature to 40 and even then we were sweating. You need to make sure the air conditioning functions before putting guests inside. Leia mais

A nice hotel for a short stay. Customer service some tightening up. Spacious hotel, large rooms. Great for persons traveling, or having a Seminar. Workshop ecetera. Was not however able to enjoy the full services of the Hotel hence my comments
