Went to Mumbai for a friend´s wedding. Almost all of the wedding´s functions were near Khar Station or Badra, so the location was really convenient. Everyone in the hotel was kind and helpful, even the ones who could barely speak English. I am gluten intolerant and the waiters were always there to show me what I could have for breakfast. Highly recommend the hotel if you are going to Mumbai to visit the areas near the hotel.

Hotel simples, póximo ao aeroporto e um pouco distante dos pontos turísiticos. Pra gente estava bom. Taxi em Mmbai não é caro. Pra quem quer um Hotel simpes recomendamos. Viagem realizada em novembro/2010. Antonio e Soraya, Brasileiros.

Convenientemente próximo ao aeroporto em Mumbai, o The Leela Mumbai está perto de MIDC Industrial Estate, Lago Powai e Santacruz Electronic Export Processing Zone. Também estão nas proximidades Shoppers Stop e Universidade de Mumbai.

The Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport, situated in Andheri East, is one of the busiest airports in India. The international airport is named after Chhatrapati Shivaji Raje Bhonsle, a 17th-century Maratha Emperor. This area is surrounded by shopping, authentic craft markets, and restaurants. Within a 10km radius from the area are prominent business districts like the Bandra-Kurla complex and the Santacruz Electronics Export Processing Zone (SEEPZ). Other popular local attractions include NSE Exhibition Centre, Borovilli National Park, Film City, and the Bombay Museum. Right from the airport pick up , every thing was wonderful about the hotel. The staff is very friendly and the room service was awesome. The food in all their restaurants was great.The room was a little smaller than I expected but all in all, this hotel turned out to be wonderful for my family and my 2 year old daughter.

"Good infrastructure but pathetic services"
we have selected Leela based on my experiences with Leela Hotel in Goa. But it proved to be a wrong decision. I could not understand the reason for the arrogance of the staff in the Hotel. We were made to wait with our kids for Breakfast both the days for around 30 minutes in the morning citing the reason that they have heavy rush. surprisingly BF […] arrangements were made in only one small restaurant repeatedly for the second day also. we could not get the baby cot even after booking it in advance and paying for that instead we were given a mattress on floor. Although we were confirmed the availability of the baby cot before reaching the hotel on phone, they denied the same later even after talking the Duty Manager. Lot of reluctance was shown for assisting us for cleaning the feeding bottle for our 5 months old baby. When they collected the bottles after repeated calling the room service guys it was returned without proper cleaning and additional foul smell in that. "Leela Kempinski - Mumbai"
I needed one night near the airport. This was a very good rate and a very decent hotel. It's a little tired in some areas - but only in the look. It is very well maintained. Excellent staff all round.
"Leela high standard with slight blemish"
This is indeed a 5 star hotel and the Leela Kempinski group really redefine luxury hotels. However for the Leela Mumbai there is one downside in that it is not a very family friendly hotel. Besides the pool, there is nothing extra for the kids to do. A playroom will go along way considering the large amount of families I saw present at the hotel. "Leela Kenpinski Mumbai"
I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and it has never failed to meet my expectations. It is clean comfortable. The staff go out of their way to make your stay pleasent. It is close to the airport which means you dont have to battle the awful Mumbai traffic Transport to and from the airport is included in the price. I heartily recommend.

If your business business is out near to the air port I prefer the LeeLa. Though I have stayed at most of the hotels in the area. Mostly they are all 4 and 5 star hotels. I really like the service and accomodations at the Leela in their Royal Club.

"World Class, Am a huge fan now"
This hotel was truly a 5-star hotel. Fantastic decor, rooms, food, attention to detail like flowers, music, room amenities...too many good things to say. Concierge was outstanding, making my first trip to India unbelieveable.
"What an experience!"
Leela is by far one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at in my life. The quality of the service, the staff go above and beyond for you and the esthetics, quality of everything from the food to the linens used in the rooms is excellent. Would definitley reccomend this hotel to anyone, especially honeymooners.

I was applying for a job as a Captain for Jet Airways. The Leela is close to the airport and simulator bays. I had some expectations about the contrasts in India, but was not entirely prepared for the beauty and grandeur of the hotel and the dismay of the surrounds. "Wonderful Stay"
Truly a 5 star hotel. Food, accomodations and staff were all superior. Variety of food items available. Room and bed were very comfortable. Internet access worked with no issues. Travel to and from the airport was top notch. I would recommend this hotel and will stay here again if I am in Bombay.

This was agreat hotel for a few days near the airport to get over jet lag. The beds are very comfortable, and my room had a great shower plus tub. The staff are very solicitous and accomodating.The atmosphere is upscale, but also decidely Indian, with nice touches like incense and flowers in the lobby. There is a great pool under palm trees, and several […] restaurants that were quite good. The resident astrologer was a fun diversion too! This is Mumbai, though, and there were slums just beyond the hotel's gardens, as there are throughout the city. A short walk to the nearest ATM offered an intorduction to the city's street life. Business center staff are happy to arrnage tours, cars, etc. Also, I was able to arrange a car pickup from the airport which made late arrival in this unfamiliar city easy. "Der Name hält nicht, was er verspricht."
Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Zu einem vergleichbaren Preis bekommt man in Mumbai ein besser ausgestattetes Hotelzimmer. Die guten Tage liegen hinter dem Kempinski. Bei Änderungswünschen der Buchung gibt es kein Entgegenkommen.

vicinissimo all'aeroporto, quindi lontanissimo dal centro - colaba. Moderatamente lussuoso, servizio premuroso ed accogliente - ma nella media dei 5 stelle indiani. Attenti al vizietto di downgradare la camera al check-in (a non la tariffa!). Mi è successo due volte di seguito: non credo alla coincidenza...
