"Fairmont Olympic in Seattle ~ overall, great!"
Our first time in Seattle. Hotel is in a wonderful and central location...many places of interest, great shops and restaurants easy to walk to. The pool, jacuzi and fitness center at the hotel were lovely! Staff was always pleasant and helpful. Only complaints: Bed was a little too soft for our liking. Biggest complaint: Occasionally, we gladly pay […] extra to splurge on a fantastic hotel. I can't get over why some 4 and 5 star hotels charge a significant amount every 24 hours for internet use. Seems like this should definitely be included in the price of the hotel. On the bright side, there is a Starbucks on every block where internet is free. However, they close at 8:00 pm, and sometimes we had to use our computers for work past then. That was an inconvenience. As much as we liked the hotel, next time we will probably try to find one where internet is free if we have to work while away. Ler mais

Friendly, helpful staff and clean comfortable hotel. Expensive restaurants serving great food. I'd go back any time I go to Seattle again.

We loved the location, comfort of the room, lots of space and beautiful decor.. The room had slippers, comfy robes,a bathroom scale but no coffee maker? Also we had to pay for wi-fi which for the cost really should be included .. The service is impeccable and the restaurant Shuckers is amazing!!! Would stay here again !!

Enjoyed my stay at the Fairmont, the hotel was clean and the service was awesome and the food was outstanding. We had such a great time there I didn't want to leave. Hope to go back next year.
The Fairmont Olympic Hotel is in great location to public transportation, shopping and tourists' spots. The rooms assigned to us is spacious - great distance between the bath room and the sleeping area. I was able to take a shower and blow dry my hair without disturbing my husband at all - which is great!. The front desk and concierge are very accomodating, […] and courteous. "Luxury? NOT!"
Our recent stay at the Fairmont was disappointing at best. Not sure how this hotel counts as a luxury hotel. Carpet, furniture, and bedspread were worn and dingy. Very poor air flow so every night it was stuffy and warm. Concierges were totally unhelpful - generic and touristy info at best. I have paid way less and received way more at numerous hotels […] across the country. At the price they charge for rooms, there should be some perks...not just a scratchy, thin bathrobe. If I am going to pay for worn and stuffy rooms, I might as well stay someplace that has some character and interesting help! Don't waste your time or money here. Only shallow people would want to pay through the nose for such a transparent hotel. Ler mais

"Not great value for money"
Great location, but the rooms were dated and musty. Much better value to be had at surrounding hotels of similar price point.
"Beautiful and Luxurious Fairmont"
This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The location was perfect. We could walk to Pike Place Market, and lots of excellent stores, museums, and restaurants. The parking was also convenient and reasonable. It made our stay in Seattle very enjoyable.

This gracious old hotel is elegantly appointed and magnificently maintained with service to match. Their restaurants are top drawer as well. Highly recommend. The Olympic Fairmont is in a marvelous location with access to high end shopping, theatre and restaurants.

Stayed at the Fairmont Olympic hotel 7/11 to 7/16 a fine hotel from a forgotten era, Classy, Refined, Ornate, comfortable beds, Awesome First Class service. Great Location for a downtown Seattle stay - Walking distance easy for transit and attractions. Terrace an Georgian Rooms have excellent food and service in a refined yet relaxed environment. Rooms […] can be a little warm as air conditioning system is a bit old. Stayed in Executive King suite, tastefully decorated with desk, pull out couch, ETC. Staff was excellent, helpful with directions to attractions and as expected for a Fairmont Property totally first class. A lovely Lady of Seattle for sure the Fairmont Olympic - we will definitely be staying there again for future trips to the Emerald City Ler mais

This was a wonderful stay for me and my bride. The help was great, the surroundings beautiful. Just what I wanted to tell the love of my life that I loved her and wanted to give her everything she deserves and more.

We have just returned from a two night stay at this hotel in Seattle.We enjoyed it very much.there were no complaints regarding the hotelexcept that we found the room to be a bit warm.I suppose if we had been staying any longer we could have rectified that by asking for a portable fan.Everything was great!

As soon as I lay my head on the pillow, I slept throughout the night wonderfully !! I will always go back to Fairmont
Doorman to the maids are excellent. Resturant is very elegant and the food was excellent.

My wife and I were looking for a nice hotel in downtown Seattle to celebrate our anniversary. The Fairmont exceeded our expectations. It was a very wonderful facility with extremely kind and attentive staff. We would highly recommend.

The hotel was gorgeous, the drinks in the bar were excellent, and the service was impeccable. My one complaint? No coffee maker in the room! I hate that!!!

Got a great deal so we booked a one-night stay for our anniversary. The hotel & room were very nice but a little too stuffy for us. Next time we will probably stay at a more trendy hotel.

The Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle was awesome. Me and my son stayed on a Sunday night after a Mariner's Game. The staff was great and i didn't have to pay for valet parking because i have a hybrid vehicle. That was great. Close to walk around downtown and see the sights.

We only stayed one night but the staff were friendly and efficient. Our accomodations were outstanding. The hotel was centrally located-and easy walk to all the main attractions in downtown Seattle. I would not stay anywhere else when we return to Seattle.

So glad after many years of visiting the Fairmont, the classic old Olympic Hotel, That the room, service, health club and general condition were as good as, if not better than ever. Great corner room at a reasonable cost, great concierge, all great. It is the great classic Seattle Hotel.

We stayed at the Olympic last fall and had a great, regular room. This time we were offered an upgrade to a suite, catch was there was a Murphy bed. Worst mattress that I have slept on in years of travelling and room, although very large and spacious was impractical. They have offered us an upgrade for our next visit. The Fairmont Olympic Hotel really earns its high rating. Wonderful amenities, warm and courteous staff, beautiful surroundings and a nice gym and pool. The food is also fantastic -- at the restaurants or in your room. If you're going to Seattle, it's one of the best hotel choices you can make.

Excellent hotel for our stay in Seattle. We arrived early in the morning, after a cruise, and got to the hotel at 8.30 AM. Even at this hour, the hotel had a room ready for us. The room was a great surprise as it was very large. We expected a small room as in most other hotels that we had stayed in but this was huge by comparison. The check-in was very […] efficient and friendly. We did not spend much time in the room for the few days that we were there but the time spent in the room was relaxing and comfortable. The door staff were extremely helpful in their advice as to where to go for sight seeing, dining and the best way to get around Seattle. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a Seattle stay in the downtown area. The cost of food in the hotel restaurants was too expensive as were the prices in the coffe shop attached to the hotel. Reasonably priced meals are available within a short distance from the hotel though. Be aware that local cafes etc do not provide a breakfast menu on the weekends but with the amount of other food businesses in the city, this is not too much of a problem. Ler mais
