You could not beat the location of this hotel, in the center of Back bay Boston, close to the best shopping and great restaurants. A classic style hotel with a fireplace in the lobby, most welcome in mid January. And a staff that was always charming and super efficient.

The Lenox continues to provide a great location for a comfortable and convenient stay in Boston's Back Bay. The staff is always courteous and helpful, the rooms are clean and well kept, and the Lenox is within walking distance of many fine restaurants. All in all we had a great Boston mini vacation, and will return again!

Hotel, Staff, location, all ideal. Brunch was different in its offering, but everyones' selection was tasty and presented well. Staff all over the hotel was helpful, courteous, and seemed to remember you when they next saw you. We recently stayed for two nights in the Lennox while visiting our friends in Boston. In the first instance, the proximity of the hotel to both the Orange and Green line T stations, was fantastic and made travelling around the city very simple and hassle free. The location of the Lennox to the Prudential Centre was great for shopping, and the great […] array of good restaurants and bars closeby meant that we didn't have to venture very far at night to get a bite to eat. We live in WA State and booked this room for my son and daughter-in-law for a weekend getaway. We have never been to the Lenox so it was a gamble we hoped they would enjoy. They absolutely raved about every aspect of their stay at the Lenox. They said we absolutely have to stay there when we come to Boston for a visit.

We stayed 2 nights at the Lenox during the Xmas season and were very well cared for. The staff is really amazing. Will stay again any time we're in Boston.

all round fantastic. decor of the room is a little dated, but otherwise everything is perfect and room was very comfortable. will definitely return if in boston again.

Excellent service, friendly and helpful staffs. The room was spacious enough for 4 persons. Most importantly, it is just next to Copley Square and train station.

The Lenox was great! I had a conference at another hotel and the Lenox was $100 cheaper. The service was fantastic, the restaurants were fairly priced for the area. Gave free coffee, free bottled water. So great!

I stayed at The Lennox for one night with my family in two double rooms. The hotel is well maintained and we found ALL of the Staff to be incredible helpful!

Stayed in this hotel in December and found the whole experience lovely. The staff at reception were very friendly and were a great source of information. The complimentary bananas, cookies and hot chocolate were a nice touch. The room was cosy but spacious and very comfortable. The aveda products were most welcome and there was a generous size fridge […] as well. I booked The Lenox primarily because of the location. Arriving on Christmas morning my main goal was to be very close to my boyfriend's mother's apartment. The Lenox was just down the street. I also liked the look of an old charming Boston Hotel. I was able to book the hotel in advance for a reduced price because I payed in full. I arrived at 7am hoping […] for an early check in that I had requested so I could sleep a few hours before the Christmas festivities. As soon as I arrived they gladly checked me in early. The lobby looks as though it had recently been renovated and was beautifully decorated for the Holiday. The room was not large, but nice and clean with a kind size bed and large flat screen. It also looks like it had been recently renovated. After I woke up from my nap, I was pleasantly surprise that they had provided breakfast for Christmas morning in the lobby. We arrived on the redeye and decided to take the T from Logan as we were not loaded down with luggage. The hotel is easily accessible from the Copley T station. The hotel had a room available at 7:30am so they let us check in very early which was much appreciated. Service and staff are excellent. The location is perfect - right in the middle of all […] you want to do in Boston. If it's cold or raining, you are a quick quarter block into Lord & Taylor's and the Prudential Center maze connections. Ler mais

We had a fantastic stay at The Lenox Hotel. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was a decent size and kept very clean. It is also in a great location, two blocks from Newbury Street and on the same block as The Prudential Center.

Just a great place. All staff were really enthused and attentive. Stayed around Xmas time and all day complimentary coffee in the Lobby was a nice touch. Reception area was lovely at Xmas, a nice feel to it. Would really recommend if staying in Boston.

My party of four ladies stayed here for 5 nights in December and can honestly say we have never received such five star treatment anywhere. The concierge and staff everywhere in the hotel were fabulous and nothing was too much trouble for them. Nice touches like home-made cookies and fruit on the reception desk to help yourself to just make you feel […] pampered. Felt the Irish Bar wasn't up to the standard of the rest of the hotel, so stick to the City Bar instead. Ler mais

Wonderful staff. Not once did I see any staff member chatting idly while clients waited for their attention. That is my pet peeve about client service for the generic service industry. At the Lenox, housekeeping, baggage handlers, front desk, concierge, doorman -- all were extremely professional and courteous. A great experience indeed!

We just spent a 4-day girlfriends' getaway in Boston and took advantage of the Christmas holidays and sales. Decided to return to The Lenox after an eleven year passage of time. The staff at The Lenox was so helpful and attentive -- made the stay all that much more enjoyable. Each morning we snagged a banana at the front desk with our coffee. One day […] when we got an early start, we asked if they would hold a couple of bananas for us -- "No problem" the reply. When we returned, we had four bananas, a couple of oranges, and four apples, all displayed in a basket for us with a sweet note attached! What a happy surprise! Yes, we'll be back...soon! this hotel is a must! its location is great close to prudential centre newbury street and a short taxi ride to quincy market which is amazing for food! The Lenox is a beautiful hotel very comfortable and clean and the staff are so friendly and helpful, it has a lovely bar and irish restuarant i cant say enough about it.. book it!

The hotel was magnificent, the staff all so friendly and always saying hello, asking how they can help. They even gave us something to remember our first American Thanksgiving. Thank you for making our stay in Boston amazing.

Location, one block from Copley Square, was ideal - within walking distance of almost everything and the "T" as well. Room was well furnished and quiet. Service was excellent. Would definitely return the next time we visit Boston.

This hotel was awesome - it was large, nice, and had every convenience. It was one block away from the green line Copley T stop and very convenient over all. I definitely recommend this hotel.

very convenient to all must see sights, all staff professional and friendly would stay again in fact this was our 2nd time.

The lenox is even better than all the reviews..its is a must for staying in Boston. It is 5 star for location, service and comfort. Every member of staff goes out of their way to help you and makje you feel teh most important guest at the hotel. We even got an upgrade to a suite because of a birthday celebration. An excellent Hotel in all respects. I would recommend it without reservation both the hotel itself and its location in the city.

Lenox Hotel has a very traditional feel but still has all of the modern conveniences. Location excellent - close to good range of eateries in Newberry Street and easy to walk to all points of interest. Room - large classic room with most comfortable bed ever. Quality toiletries provided. In-room fridge but also filtered water and ice in corridor. Public […] areas beautifully decorated but limited space. Hot drinks and snacks available here every afternoon as well as early moring coffee and tea. Personal attention second to none - received flowers and wine in our room as it was our anniversary. Loved the location, hotel room and the customer service we received was excellent. My only comment related to the plumbing - which was noisy. Everything else was great.

Liked it. Took my mum for a few days to Boston and we stayed at The Lenox. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent. Plumbing in room was quite noisy but it is an older style hotel. Would recommend to others.

We had two stays at the Lenox in October, 2011 - a total of six days. On our first stay, our room was spacious and bright and the two double beds were mega comfortable. The bathroom was huge. There was even a Lenox umbrella in the closet in case it rained. Although we requested the same room for our return visit, we were told that rooms weren't allocated […] until the day of arrival. The room we were given was in the same category as the one we had had previously (double deluxe) and was on the same floor, around the corner from the main corridor. The room was elaborately furnished and quiet. However, the beds were hard and the bathroom was tiny, with nowhere to put anything on the bathroom sink. It must be just the luck of the draw - and we still enjoyed our stay. The staff were extremely courteous and friendly on both visits and the location of the hotel is superb - right near Copley Square. We did eat once in the hotel dining room, but our lunch was the only very disappointing meal on our whole American trip. The waiter spent a long time talking to a girl sitting at the bar and, when we finally got his attention, the coffee he brought was stone cold. Our lunch (Sunday) included re-heated vegetables and french fries which looked as though they had been fried 3 times. Our meals looked sadly like left-overs and we decided to eat at the UNO Grill over the road from then on. This place was an absolute gem. Terrific staff, wonderful meals, which were healthy, freshly cooked, tasty and reasonably priced. Overall we would say that the Lenox is a little gem in a lovely part of Boston. Ideal choice in so any ways. Staff could not have been more helpful - a fantastic choice for us to meet up with Canadian friends from schooldays and spend a whole week in a beautiful & interesting place, but where are the decent coffee shops? Paper cups & poor coffee. Food OK. Hotel pub better than most.

Very nice and comfortable be,d with great linens. Some age to walls etc was there but did not take away from our visit. I'd stay there again,

I would highly recommend the Lenox Hotel in Boston for comfort, good food, friendly and helpful staff. We were a party of 9 and booked 4 double rooms, each and every one of us had a very enjoyable experience. It is within walking distance of the best shops and a "T" station very close by made it easy to get anywhere we wanted to go.

The descriptions of this hotel online don't do it justice, it's much more luxurious and decadent from the outside than you can tell from pictures. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating and since parking in Boston can be such a pain it was great to be able to valet our car. We had a great breakfast at City Table (although we missed breakfast […] on our second morning because of a misunderstanding with the hours of operation). The location is ideal, right in Back Bay, 1 block from great shopping & restaurants on Newbury, 1 block from a T stop, right near the Prudential Center, close to the gardens and commons, overall just a great place to be. I've never written a review after staying in a hotel but felt compelled after my stay at The Lenox, I was quite impressed. Ler mais

I would definetly recommend the Lenox Hotel, it was very clean, staff were sincerly friendly, and they went a "step" beyond. Close to Newbury Street, 20 min. walk to Fenway Park, very central. August 29, 30, 31 2011.

My wife and I were on a 'babymoon' up to Boston for a few nights. I don't ever write reviews but the hotel staff went out of their way to get flowers, balloon, sparkling cider, baby magazines and a hand written note from staff to my wife and I in our room. Very unusual this day and age... and I travel a great deal for work and do not ever see service […] like this. All staff was always pleasant and helpful. Only negative was the bed and maybe the shower head. Too hard and not hard enough - not enough pressure. Would definitely stay there again. Great value! Ler mais
