Hotel muito confortável e bem estruturado. A sua localização foi corrigida pelo excelente serviço de transporte (gratuito) para o aeroporto, a qualquer tempo, podendo pegar um ônibus (silver) para a estação ferroviária/rodoviária. Hotel muito bonito e limpo. Excelente atendimento e um bom café da manhã (raro nos EUA).

"Taj Review"
The Taj Boston is located in the heart of the Back Bay neighborhood in downtown Boston. In my opinion the location is priceless. There couldn't be more shopping and delicious restaurants right at your fingertips. I was a little disappointed with the view from my hotel room as it was just the back of other buildings and I could not see that wonderful […] Boston skyline like I had hoped. In the two times I took a shower during my stay, only one was warm enough. The first shower was borderline cold and the second shower was merely lukewarm. This is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Also upon entering the room the thermostat read at a stifling 82 degrees Farenheit. I turned it off and after I returned from dinner it has only falledn to 77 degrees. Again, this is unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. Otherwise the stay was pleasent. Leia mais

"The Taj Boston--the perfect experience"
Spent Christmas here and it was beautiful--well worth while upgrading to conceirge level for food and drinks almost all day long. Hotel is fit for a king and a queen!

"Still a Boston Classic"
The basic infrastructure and location of the Boston Taj cannot be beat. Nice to see the old building )rather than the newer one next door) as the focus for hotel guests. Excellent hotel services exist including the cozy bar and cafe at street level. Greater attention needs to be paid to general maintenance and cleaning. Rugs throughout were soiled and […] the outside welcome mats looked worn and dirty. A simple daily vacuum is all that is needed there. A lampshade and picture, in an otherwise perfect room, were askew on arrival and one curtain had been separated from its wand pull. Not major problems but still not expected in a hotel of this rank. "Taj Boston - beautiful views of Boston common"
The front desk manager was very kind and we were able to score a great corner room with views of Boston common and comm ave.! It was a delightful experience and I will definitely stay there again!
"A rip off"
The Taj used to be The Ritz in Boston. Now it is being run on the cheap, but the prices they charge are not!! We booked a park view room at top dollar. We had to complain after not having heat the first day. A maintenance guy came in and with special tools turned on the baseboard heat. It could not be turned on or controlled by us. He said if that was […] not warm enough he would have to bring in a space heater!!! This was a very expensive room. The icing on the cake was the fact that I had no hot water the third morning. We had to leave early for our plane and I was running the water for a long time at 5:30 am. No hot water emerged, so I took a cold shower. At 6:00 am the hot water started for my husband and my daughter. I believe they are trying to cut corners and save some money by not heating until complaints are heard and not turning on the hot water heater until 6:00 am. Leia mais

"not worth the hype"
the w hotel is far better, and less expensive. i did not like this hotel what so ever, i know it is considered to be one of the best in boston, but i was not impressed. the service was nothing special, the room was ok nothing special. i actually had bugs in the room which was quiet disgusting and not what you expect from a 5 star hotel. the location […] is beautiful but i would not stay here again. "excellent location and atmosphere"
I loved the location of the hotel very convenient and felt in the middle of the city.. many things were very close by, shopping, restaurants, park and public transportation. I enjoyed my stay a lot would definitely recommend it.

Hotel has not lost a step from its conversion to the Taj from the Ritz. Highest level of detail and service. We were pleasantly surprised to have gotten a room for one night only over holiday and a room overlooking Boston's Public Garden! After a wonderful dinner out we had a nightcap in the hotel bar. We were pleasantly greeted right upon our enterance […] and guided to a wonderful seat by the window overlooking Arlington St/Garden. The Taj Boston was a very comfortable, inviting feeling. Well run with knowledgeable, pleasant staff. Food and service were good. Valet parking was very helpful, maybe priced a bit high. I would recommend and I would stay here again.
"TAJ Boston Visit"
We had a park view room which was very pleasant. Service excellent and room was clean. Only criticism was that this is an old hotel that does not have the amenities of a newer 4-5* hotels. Nevertheless, it still has charm and location.

Carpet stains, sparse furnishings, small bathroom. If it weren't for the location and the building history (as it was previously The Ritz Carlton), this could be a hotel to pass up for newer accommodations.

I dont know how a 5 star hotel does not have flat screen tvs in every room. For the amount you pay for each night at the hotel you should definitily be able to watch quality tv.

It was my wifes birthday and @ 3:50pm they said did not have a room for us as of yet, we had asked for an early check in time they stated hotel was overbooked. We said that we had a res and that it was not acceptable. So within 5 or 10 min they finally found our original room with the park view. no coffee in the room and they took away the coffee in […] the lobby @ 7:30am we guess they wanted to have you purchase a pot from room service for $25 Just seems like they play with you as soon as you walk in. I decided to stay one more day and it was not possible to stay in the same room. That same day i arrived at the hotel after midnight, nobody was outside to take your car so I drop the keys at the front desk, the next day my car was taken back to the rental agency withouth my knowledge. The Taj hotel is, obviously, gorgeous. It's also old - and that cuts both ways. Yes, it's really easy to look at, and it has that feel of old luxary, but you're also saddled with the expected elements of an old building. Air conditioning in room was insufficient; bathroom was tiny - your knees are against the door when you are on toilet; parking was $44 and took 45 minutes to get car causing us to be late to our appointment.

"Taj Hotel Back Bay"
This grand old lady may not be the newest but it has more class than any other hotel in Boston. Rooms are very comfortable being totally renovated, but many of the old touches remain, sterling soap dishes, antique armoir and working fireplaced with a wood butler
"Showers were terrible"
the water couldn't have come out slower or less hot. it basically ruined the stay.
"No plugs and no internet"
Great hotel but no convenient plugs and it took more than an hour to make the wireless internet work at midnight. also for these type of hotels one would think that the internet should be free.... Anyway it has the boutique hotel feel to it.
top rate old fashioned hotel. hotel security dealt with a "post wedding" issue quite professionally, hotel dining room is like the old financial center hotels of yesteryear. a high quality place.

"Not worth the price"
The hotel needs major work. The shower control was broken and actually fell off as I was trying to deal with this. Impossible to take the shower I had been looking forward to. Next, the handle on the closet door fell off into my hand as I tried to open it. It took some contortions to get to my clothes. We were graciously received and taken care of in the Taj Boston. The room was beautiful and comfortable -- we had requested a park view and were delighted to look out and see the trees in bloom and the swan boats in the water. I always enjoy my stay at the Taj Boston. James the Concierge is wonderful, warm and helpful. Always makes my life easy. I was not pleased with check in, it took way too long at least 10 minutes of standing at the desk while the clerk took care of something on the phone. Seems there must have been someone to help out. "Desperately Seeking Renovations"
The Taj is OLD. Plenty of older hotels still have character, yet are clean and well maintained. This one is not. The bed was creaky and uncomfortable. The carpet was curling away from the walls, visibly dirty, and full of runs. The bathroom fixtures had rusty holes and generally looked abused. Altogether very disappointing for a luxury rated (and priced) hotel. I'd recommended the Mandarin, the Lenox, or any number of other similarly priced hotels in the city. "Very Bad Experience"
I travel a lot and I never had such a bad experience. Waiter was arguing with another waiter right in front of us in the restaurant. Service was inconsidered on all levels. Maid not only ignored the "Do not disturb" sign, but she insisted on going in the room early Sunday morning and when I complained about it in the reception they thought paying for […] overpriced non-service should be fine for everybody. Been up to Boston several times this past year and this is, by far, the best hotel we have yet to stay in! Staff was remarkable; service, exemplary; and the room comfortable, spacious, and inviting. We won't need to look any further for future visits.
