O hotel praticamente não tem nada ao redor, só um 7/11 que quebra bem o galho. Porém é muito rápido se deslocar de lá até qualquer lugar de carro; exceto Nova Iorque - pegue o trem. O quarto é limpo e confortável e os funcionários são educados. O café da manhã é simples, mas resolve. Pelo valor, vale a pena com certeza.

"Hotel maravilhoso!"
Com uma excelente localização(3 minutos da Times Square e 10 minutos do coração da 5a Avenida). É do lado de todos os principais teatros da Broadway, o que foi maravilhoso para mim e minha irmã mais nova. É uma vizinhança muito tranquila, e uma rua boa para circular a noite, ou em qualquer horário do dia. O serviço do hotel foi excelente, e o quarto […] é grande(comparado com os que já fiquei em Manhattan) com uma cama King, que foi excepcional depois de longas caminhadas pela cidade. O hotel em si é bom, só tenho duas ressalvas a fazer: primeiro que para deixar a bagagem após check-out é preciso pagar uma taxa extra; segundo, existem poucos pontos para acesso de internet free, o wifi do hotel é amplo porém de custo elevado.

This hotel gets an 9 out of 10 for the staff. The room on the other hand gets a 2. The room was very small, not like what was seen in the online add. I am 6'2" and my feet hung over the edge of the bed at least a foot. The pillows were very thin and hard as a rock. I had 3 restless nights sleep which negatively effected my stay in New York. THIS WAS OUR 4TH VISIT TO THIS HOTEL AND WE LOVE STAYING THERE. THE STAFF ARE VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY AND THE LOCATION IS FANTASTIC. WOULD MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ALTHOUGH I WOULD PREFER TO KEEP IT A SECRET!!!

At first I thought the hotel was a step down from what I am used to, but after the first few hours, I really enjoyed it! Lots of foreign guests, many were French and lovely. The breakfast buffet is fabulous! Our room was very large. A good value.

"Right in the heart of it all."
Excellent location for nearly all the sights especially Times Square. Had a problem with the bedding on arrival and had to ask for the bedding to be changed and the silicone around the bath was mouldy but otherwise the rest of the room was clean. Surprised to find they dont supply tea making facilities in the rooms. You could use room service but it […] gets expensive just for a morning or evening cuppa. Breakfast was ok and bar snacks not bad. Not much choice though. Cheaper diners within easy walking distance. Staff friendly enough especially the barman. Get a room as high up as you can due to the street noise but be aware, the lifts are temperamantal and some days we waited 25 minutes for a lift down from the 28th floor. "Novatel New York Times Square - A disappointment"
On our first ever trip to NYC the Novatel didn't live up to its promises. First of all, we requested a nonsmoking room and were put in a smoking room. The air in the hallway and in our room was heavy with the stench of stale smoke, and the ashtray on the desk confirmed our worst suspicions. The hotel "was full" so had no other rooms to give us. The […] bed was as hard a slab of cement, so we didn't sleep well. Hotel service was nonexistent, especially front desk help, who was indifferent to our concerns. Sine we were visiting the city for the first time, we really would have appreciated a warmer reception than we received. Overall, a huge disapointment and we would not stay at the Novatel again. "Great view of Times Square for a good pricei"
Our room was modest but the view of Time's Square was magnificent! Be sure to ask for the Times Square view. Skip the dinner food at the restaurant which was awful but be sure to enjoy the deck overlooking the sights.

A very nice hotel in the heart of the NYC. Within walking distance of major theaters, 5th Avenue, Rockefeller Center, MoMA, Central Park etc. Close to subway. Good location, near Times Square and Broadway. Clean and comfortable. Would of liked tea and coffee making facilities. Paid a very high premium for NY hotel - we stayed at 8 other hotels during our trip and the Novotel was more than double the price of any of the others including Montreal.

"Novotel Time Square -- Great location"
Great Times Square Location -- The Letterman show is just around the corner. Our room overlooked Times Square and all the bright lights. Great steak house next door and within walking distance of all the Broadway shows.

The rooftop bar may only be at lobby level, but is a must, for the view of times square, and the atmosphere The hotel itself was great, comfortable and amenable

I was only there for one night on a business trip but the outside lounge was beautiful with a great view of times square. The front desk staff were extremely friendly. I would definitely go back!

"Not worth the money"
I visit NYC often for work and I picked this place because my usual first choice is all sold out. I had a late arrival of 4am and when i was checking in, I didn't even get a "how are you?" or a freaken smile. Anyways, the rooms are avg- small. Clean. I did like the lighting controls by the bed. I stayed there for 2 nights and THEY DIDN'T CLEAN MY […] ROOM!? I didn't put the Do Not Disturb sign out. Every morning the lobby wass PACKED with teens... i thought i was in a high school cafeteria. "Great location"
This is a 4+ star hotel, rooms were nice size and well kept with 2 types of light/noise cancel sheilds. Elevators very quick and smooth, very helpfull for recomandations for dinning choices. The dinning has a wonderfull view of Times Square and an Outdoor patio that was inviting.Would recommend this Hotel for a Great Location, and Higher Quality.

Where do i begin? The horrible service provided by the bell staff, front desk, room service and telephone operator? The dirty, damp and dated decor of the room? Duvets without sheets or blankets (like a european youth hostel?)? There are so many great hotels in NYC that are priced well below this dump. Pet friendly with no extra pet charge and accepts pets other than cats and dogs. Efficient, French, snotty staff. Room could have been cleaner -- big black hairs in the bed. Also hotel is a little rundown, but for the savings, worth looking at spotty carpet. OK room size for being so close to Times Square. Good location, Radio City Music Hall only three blocks away. (six minute walk). However Novotel claims to have on site parking, they do not. The room was great, huge for Manhattan but it was connected to an elevator shaft that you could hear all night. Other than that I will stay there again and I would recommend to others.
