Location, location, location! Huge beds also ...

The Mardi Gras Tower even numbers looks out over an air conditioning unit. The view sucked! The hotel and room were nice enough.

I noticed I wasn't offer any coupons for a free show or free buffets like other casinos do. Also the rooms rates were not the same. One room was higher than the other. Although they were the same kind.

Harah's has an excellent location in the centre of the strip. I understand the hotel was renovated in 1997 having originally opened in 1973. It is not therefore in the same league as some of its newer more illustrious neighbours, but this was reflected in the rate I paid. The rooms are clean and well serviced, although the carpets are looking tired. […] As with all hotels in Vegas, there is always a considerable wait to endure at the check in and information desks. There is also a daily charge for wi fi access which has always been complimentary at other US hotels I have visited (though Vegas hotels may be different). Breakfast was not included either, but again this was fair enough for the price I paid. Harah's can be a good value for money choice provided you know what you are getting and pay the right price for it compared to what else is on offer. Leia mais

I stay in the hotel after new years eve It was a last minute decision going to Vegas . I was really surprise with the rates and also I was able to take my little dog , by the way that was the main reason I choose the hotel . Rate were good and allowed me to take my dog for a fee. Upgraded to deluxe room. Room was clean and well decorated with a very comfortable bed. Harrah's is perfectly located on the strip. Staff was friendly and we really appreciated that there was no hidden resort fee.

I booked a single bed , on a romatic getaway, and was given twin beds, needless to say i was not pleased. I then had to cancel many of my planned events to try and rectify the situation at the hotel, some anniversary huh?

We really enjoyed our stay at Harrah's. The location was great.

I went to Vegas to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was ruined by my awful experience at Harrah's. The first room they put us in the bathtub leaked and when I showered it flooded the entire hotel room! The hotel room itself was small, dirty and smelled of smoke despite claims of being non smoking. When we went downstairs to report the leak and flood […] the manager and concierge were both very rude and unhelpful. The manager simply told us that she would send maintenance up in the morning. We had to ask to change rooms. The room we were moved to was worse than the first and the shower had no water pressure because the nozzle was so clogged with lime. The next day housekeeping comes barging in the door despite the do not disturb sign and claims she absolutely had to clean the room immediately even though we were still in it. She walked around cleaning and sprayed toxic bleach and cleaning solution all over my toiletries in the bathroom. The last insult was on the morning we were leaving. The hotel was replacing the hallway carpet and the maintenance man was absolutely inappropriate . He comes knocking on the door at 5 am and when we didn't answer he came barging into the room without permission. I yelled at him because I was in bed and not dressed. He just gave me a dirty smile and left the room. I hate to think what the maintenance guy would have done if my husband wasn't in the room with me when he barged in. Harrahs is a good place to stay since it is on the strip. Walking distance to some casinos too and near the airport.

As a salesman I stay in many hotels and Harrahs is right there in the middle.

Good choice for price. Very convenient to everything. Not as luxurioius as many of the newer hotels on the strip but certainly good value. Only complaint is noise. While room was very spacious and comfortable, I could hear hall and neighbor noise. I could literally hear conversation of next door neighbors.

We didnt want to spend an outrageous amount to stay at the Venitian so we opted for Harrahs. Great choice overall at a great price. Very nice casino, nice room and walking distance to everything else we wanted to do/see.

If you are trying to save money this is the hotel to go, if you can expend a little more go a little bit south

Very convenient for Sands convention and other casinos.

The hotel was very nice and close to all of the activity on the strip. We really enjoyed our stay and will return. I had never used Hotels.com and was not sure how this would work out. We use Best Western & Choice when we travel. Everything was great. We did upgrade the room on our arrival, and we needed the oversize parking facility and to our delight […] it was covered! Ok needless to say I don't like to write reviews on anything, I have to say the deal we got through hotels.com was a last minute push to get into Vegas during CES week - when we had to meet a client. And what a deal we got. Our colleagues paid 5x what we paid, and they weren't even on the Strip! Harrah's love you in Tahoe! and you came through for us […] in Vegas baby! (ps... of course, we blew our money everywhere else outside of the hotel room). But yes, clean, awesome - and we travel alot. So thank you Harrah's! Leia mais

The hotel is in prime location and offers lots of entertatinment....strongly recommend it.

Booked this hotel for 4 nights during the CES tradeshow in LV. they didn't have our (non-smoking room) available so they supposedly upgraded us to a mini-suite which is a joke since the size is smaller than other vegas regular rooms. they room STUNK from SMOKE and we could not have one night of good sleep. i travel for work more than 200days a year […] and this is the MOST DISGUSTING ROOM i have ever stayed at. DO NOT STAY here and save your sanity and $. the Heater didn't work so it was freezing every night since it just blew cold air and more smoke smell. I am a smoker myself but i didn't even smoke in the room since it was so bad!... STAY AWAY from this sad excuse for a HOTEL. Leia mais

I made my reservation the night before my stay. When I tried to check-in the Desk Clerk said that I didn't have a reservation, that the Hotel had been sold out by the night before so she did't think I could have reserved a room. Sent me over to the on-site Vegas.com people because "they own Hotels.com". Vegas.com people siad can't help, not their problem. I […] checked my e-mail confirmation and called the Hotel reservation area with the hotels.com confirmation number. "Sorry no reservation" I called hotels.com the person said "the hotel gave us a confrirmation when you booked" and gave me the Harrah's Confirmation Number. I went back to the registration area, different clerk, next to prior clerk. Second clerk said "No reservation". First clerk piped in "Didn't Vegas.com help you?" I told her No - they didn't think it was their problem. . I told the second clerk this is the Harrah's Confirmation Number - doesn't that mean anything? Second clerk called reservations. extended conversation, begins keying my data into system, gives me a room key. I asked her "what was the problem". Her answer - "Harrah's reservations hadn't entered the reservation into Harrah's system" Elapsed time and aggravation -about 2 hours and more aggravation than I need. Leia mais

Good, clean, fair priced.

Harrah's is in a perfect location for exploring Las Vegas. It's in the centre of the Strip and accessible to all the wonders of Las Vegas. Comfortable rooms. The only downside to our stay here was the attitude of some of the frontline staff. They didn't appear to be concerned about any queries we had and gave the impression that we were a nuisance. […] We complained to management and the lady who took our complaint was great which helped to alleviate the poor service we had experienced. We really enjoyed our stay at Harrah's. It has a monorail stop that made it easy to get to either end of the strip and everywhere in between. I was a little nervous because we got such a great deal, but the hotel was clean and we were very satisfied with our stay. I would not hesitate to stay at Harrah's again.

I booked two rooms for 4 of us. Each room was to have two queen beds. When I checked in the front counter informed me they gave my part a 2 room suite with 3 beds...and a rollout. I didnt pay for a roll out...I paid for 4 beds. HORRIBLE experience. Never again Harrahs.

You get what you pay for. This hotel is an older property on the strip but it is in the middle of the strip which for party goers it is pretty convenient. Parking Structure Comprise of South or North side. It's old, dirty and hard to get to from the strip. Rooms Older properties mean older rooms. They are in need of updating their rooms. We had to […] upgrade our rooms & we were not impressed. Ask what tower and side of the room is before you check in. If you stay in the Mardi Gras tower facing Carnival Court you will hear the loud club music until 3 AM. If you like peace and quiet, this hotel is not for you. Visited Las Vegas for a convention and stayed at Harrah's for the second year. The room was great with updates in bathroom and furnishings. Love the location. Will stay at Harrah's on any upcoming trips to Las Vegas.

Even though Harrahs isn't the newest resort on the strip, it's still an excellent choice. Located in the center of the strip, Harrahs offers the perfect location. The casino and rooms were in very good condition. The staff and clientel also seemed to be above average. I appreciate that Harrahs doesn't have any hidden resort fees, an annoying problem […] with most Vegas hotels. I would recommend Harrahs to anyone wanting a good resort at a reasonable price. Hotel is very centrally located on the strip. Very reasonable rates and good food. Parts of the hotel are being refurbished but it does not affect the guests as the work is done on floors where there are no guests.
