Gostei bastante do hotel em relaçao ao preço pago. Somente a atendente do hotel foi muito grosseira, mas nao deixo de indicar por causa disso. Recomendo.

O objetivo da minha viagem era um dia de compras e o hotel atendeu minhas expectativas. Vale ressaltar que é imprescindível ter carro, pois não há comércio próximo, além de um posto de gasolina que considerei conveniente. O hotel é próximo ao aeroporto, mas o quarto é bem silencioso, confortável e espaçoso. Pude organizar minhas malas sem problemas. O wi-fi no quarto funcionou perfeitamente e em boa velocidade de conexão. Café-da-manhã padrão americano satisfatório. Poderia melhorar a indicação de entrada do hotel porque é um pouco confuso a primeira vista.

Adequate Confort/cost relation, very well localized, hotel staff very friendly and open to address your request. Only negative, breakfast end on saturday by 10AM and no service can be get from the Cafeteria after that. Nick

O hotel está muito bem localizado próximo ao aeroporto de Houston, mas mesmo assim é silencioso, com um bom café da manhã e atendimento gentilr. Os quartos são limpos e, embora não muito novos, são confortáveis. Vale a pena pelo custo/beneficio.

"Doubletree, Downtown -not the ordinary Doubletree"
I had a group of guests. They were surprised when I booked the Doubletree, as they were expecting more of a motel.... They were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. All areas were above standard, and certianly more than expected...
"Classy and cozy"
I loved the hotel and the service. I was disappointed in the area but that isn't the hotels fault. Great for business travel because it is in the heart of downtown but I would not recommend it for leisure travel unless you get a really good price. For leisure, it's close to the light rail but there are no restaurants open at night and very few open […] at all on the weekend (lunch or dinner). They do have a restaurant in the hotel but we found it to be pricey. Leia mais

The Doubletree Houston Downtown is a very well-managed property. Every single contact that I made with their staff (which on this trip included valet, front desk, room service, chauffeur, concierge, housekeeping, and restaurant) was positive. "friendly helpful staff"
Hotel was immaculate everywhere i went, the staff couldn't have been nicer. Restaurant was pretty good, not my common experience, and reasonably priced, with fresh vegetables not frozen processed grub. The coffee provided in the room was really good too. If I ever return I'm definitely staying here. If you're coming to Houston you probably realize […] it's not a "real" city. The only thing "downtown" are more chain restaurants and hotels, with some parking garages and offices to fill in the blanks. Clean city, but don't plan on walking everywhere--there is no "there" there. Taxis can get you there for a steep fee, transit is manageable if your used to using transit--bus drivers were very friendly and helpful, too. "Hotel Dowtown Houston"
I found the hotel to absolutely fabulous. All of the hotel employess were very accomodating and very professional. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. I would recommend to anyone.
"Doubletree Houston - Downtown"
Everyone was very friendly and helpfull, always asking if we needed directions when we left the hotel. The valet service was excellent. The only minor draw back was that if you wanted a microwave or refrigerator, there was a charge for that. Also if you wanted wireless internet in your room there was a charge of $9.95/day. If you went down to the lobby […] it was free. This was not a big dela as I would go down there in the evening and have a beverage and do my emails etc. I would stay here agin, Leia mais
"Thumbs up!"
The hotel stay was A-1 for me. The free shuttle took me around downtown Houston free of charge, they even dropped me off and came back when I called so I didn't have to use my own vehicle while I was there. The whole staff was extra nice ! My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I will be back to the Doubletree in Houston.
"DoubleTree Always A Big Plus/Houston TX"
The room was fantastic, not cramped in the least. Very nice linens, which is a must for me! I had reserved a room that included Breakfast ( A Breakfast you would have on a Cruise Ship ) it was worth the little price upgrade on the room! It included a Buffett w/service from you table as well! The best of both Worlds. I have stayed at different hotels […] and have always paid $30.00 parking fee at the Hotel. This one cost only $14.50 and a bargain I did not expect! So the stay was a complete delight from the beginning to the end. They also had free shuttle service ( which was very prompt ) that included all of the Downtown Houston Area! I have always enjoyed staying at The Doubletree and The Doubletree Downtown Houston Texas (Dallas St.) was no exception to the rule! I did get the King Suite Corner with Breakfast (Bargain). Hope you will enjoy the stay as much as I did, and don't forget the nice warm chocolate chip cookies you receive upon check-in..! I really do like the King Suite Corner Room which has alot more room space. They have only a few of this type that come with Breakfast Also, so try your best to get this Room. Great hotel. Great service. Only thing i didnt like was the $15 dollar a day parking fee. But overall it was all worth great place to stay.

Wonderful stay, Clean, loved the fact it had a lobby bar and lounge. The shuttle service was FANTASTIC! They took me wherever I needed to go, hardly any wait time! LOVED it!

Good location for business, but downtown Houston is dead on weekends!
The only thing I would add that was negative about our stay was that while eating breakfast a homeless man wondered in and starting helping himself to bunches of food! However, the security was very friendly and nice and escorted him out. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

"Outrageous extra charges!"
I stayed here for one night and upon check out was charged an automatic parking fee at $14 per car (no option to park yourself), which I was not aware of...then the next day I checked my bank statement and I had been charged another $20. I didn't call the hotel to ask what it was about...but the room was left in normal condition and I can't imagine […] what the charge would have been for. Absolutely ridiculous. The breakfast room service was totally not worth it at all...I'd rather have gone to Ihop! I would not stay here again. Leia mais
"Great place to stay near downtown Houston."
This hotel has friendly service and clean rooms. Would definitely stay again here. You will need to bring a shower cap because one is not provided.
"First class stay, otstanding."
Everything from the complimentary cookie at check-in to the easy check-out was superb. First class service throughout the hotel, a special mention has to go to the more than helpful concierge team, who provided complimentary town car drop-off and pick up to most places in downtown. Big thanks to Peter and his team. We didn't eat dinner at the hotel, […] but the breakfast buffett provided all we wanted. The room we had was at the end of the corridor on the 12th floor and was large and triangular in shape, with floor to ceiling windows on two sides of the room, coming to a point near the desk! Scary looking out. Bed was very comfy and the bathroom was very well appointed with separate vanity unit, toilet and bathroom with shower. After going out for dinner at a nearby restaurant we came back and had a drink at the hotel bar, resonable prices compared to most other hotels. That was when the Fire Alarm went off! Everyone was evacuated from their rooms and we stood all outside while the firecrew checked the building. When they were sure it was a false alarm, we were allowed back in to the reception and bar area, but not the rooms as they were still checking some electrics and the elevators were out. We continued our drink and were given a complimentary glass of wine for the inconvenience, so not a bad experience at all. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Houston and I would choose this chain to stay at again. Leia mais

I'd recommend this hotel. It as outstanding with an amazing free breakfast. Excellent workout facilities and convenient to the George Brown Convention Center. Walking distance to excellent food and entertainment

Everything was ok, clean room, acceptable rate. Just that I was caught by surprised that they are a 4-star hotel and do not have internet in the room, it's extra charge while I stayed at other hotel (only 2 1/2 star) in a different location, cheaper rate, also booked through Hotels.com and they had wireless internet in the room with no extra charge. […] another thing at DoubleTree hotel that caught me by surprised was they would not let you park your car, at first impression, you'd think wow, a 4 star hotel is different, they have valet, but when you check out, they charge you for it and it wasn't cheap for 1 night, I tell you that, I didn't mind paying for that but it was a little annoying because we did not know that in advance, we stayed at the hotel and it should have been free, it's not like we came to the hotel just to park our car there to go somewhere else. Actually, I even tipped the valet guys more than the fee. So whoever wants to book this hotel, beware of the valet parking fee, it may give you the "what the xxxx ?" attitude. Leia mais

Wow! This hotel surpassed all of my expectations. I am a city girl at heart, so I'm picky when it comes to hotels. This place was immaculate. The service was unbelievable. It may not be close to a lot of things in the city, but it's right off the highway, so easy to find and the hotel has shuttles to wherever you need to go. "Perfect downtown location"
Very relaxed atmosphere in an upscale hotel. We ran the half marathon and could not have asked for a better location to the start/finish line and the service from the staff was way above average.
Stay was great, from check in and check out . Beds the best ever thank you I will be back.

"Doubletree Downtown Houston"
The hotel itself is very nice and the staff is excellent. The food in the hotel restaurant was also very good. The only hesitation that I have about the hotel is its location. It is on the edge of downtown and many of the things right around it close up at 5pm. It is a rather short walk to other places but I would have liked to have been closer to more […] activity. It would have helped if I had a car. If you are going just for a place to stay, this is perfect, but if you want some nearby nightlife and restaurants, I'd look elsewhere - just where I do not know. This is a very decent downtown Houston hotel. It's atractive, clean, well provisioned and staffed. A little awkwardness arose as the work shifts switched. The later did not know what the former promised to do. It is more reasonably priced than other downtown hotels of this caliber. One hangup, Allen Center is rather isolated. "Great for downtown business"
The hotel was wonderful. Everything was clean and comfortable. They have a great breakfast available. It is a good location if you you have business in the downtown area and is right next to the freeway to get to the rest of the city. There were a few restaurants open on the weekend near the hotel, but there are plenty of others within walking distance. "Doubletree Hotel Downtown Houston-very convenient"
We stayed here when working at the convention center. It was conveniently located, the free hotel shuttle was always ready when needed. The staff did everything necessary to make sure all our needs were met.
