Hotel muito confortavel, pesssoal muito atencioso,proximo das principais atrações turisticas. Unica restrição são os arredores do hotel, as ruas que dão para o fundo do hotelnão me deixaram a vonqtade para passear à pé durante`a noite

Este hotel possui quarto amplos e bem decorados apesar de não ter um criado de um dos lados da cama. Ótima Internet Wifi no saguão e nos quartos. O café da manhã fica devendo muito a hoteis desta categoria - suco de laranja é artificial e faltam opções de queijos, não tem jamon, bolos nem tostadeira para um pão ou mixto quente. Boa localização apesar […] de não ter garagem. O atendimento, no meu caso, foi péssimo pois foram muito indelicados conosco. Erraram o tempo de minha reserva e retiraram minha mala e meus pertences pessoais que se encontravam no armário, no quarto e banheiro colocando tudo em sacos no chão atrás do balcão da recepção. Quando cheguei, não consegui entrar no quarto pois meu cartão foi desabilitado. Chegando na recepção para resolver o problema da chave, pasmen, me deparei com todos os meus pertences. Fiquei muito chateado e irritado com a situação. Sentimentos que não gostamos de sentir principalmente em uma viagem de lazer. Mostrei novamente meu voucher e me realocaram em um outro quarto da mesma categoria. Pediram somente desculpas e nada mais. Muita indelicadeza e deselegância para um hotel da rede accor. Viajo constantemente para o exterior e nunca me deparei com situações sequer parecidas com esta. Me descepcionei profundamente e não recebi sequer uma retratação da gerência do hotel. Bem localizado, próximo a linhas de ônibus, trem e metro. Café da manhã bom.

De modo geral o hotel é muito bom, e bastante confortável. A localização é boa. Tem o ônibus turismo que tem uma paragem bem na frente do hotel (recomendo fazer esse passeio). A área na frente do hotel que não está muito bonita (Praça da Batalha), mas tem bastante comércio nas redondezas. O hotel é excelente, de muito bom gosto e muito bem localizado, bem no coração de Porto, próximo a todos os pontos turísticos da cidade e do onibus turístico, que também é uma boa pedida por ser barato, porém, existem poucos onibus em circulação, gerando uma espera de 40 minutos entre as passagens. O quarto estava muito limpo, a comida era barata porém […] não comi no hotel então não posso afirmar nada sobre a qualidade da mesma. Tem um terraço interessante e um bar agradável no primeiro andar. A única coisa que me desagradou é que o pessoal do hotel quis me cobrar para emprestar talheres e taças para levar ao quarto. Achei isso bastante desagradavel pois queria tomar um vinho e não tinha taça, só copos comuns no quarto. O serviço de quarto tb é cobrado, inconveniente. Leia mais

Um hotel muito bem localizado na praca da batalha perto do metro e do funicular que deixa direto na Ribeira. O meu quarto era um pouco pequeno, mas muito bom e confortavel, e para mim que estava viajando sozinha não tinha problema. Ponto alto era o banheiro, grande, muito limpo e novo. Voltaria e ficaria no mesmo hotel com certeza.

O hotel é super bem localizado,os quartos espaçosos e o atendimento é excelente.

Good location despite the walk up the steep hill initially with backpacks. Pretty much right in shopping district with lots of cafes around to grab breakfast, etc. The hotel was lovely in that they sent up to our room a complimentry bottle of champagne and dessert on my birthday - an amazing touch. Hotel meal at restaurant was fairly average for price […] and room service hamburger with chips was literally a meat patty with an egg on top....(no bun!) and some crisps. location is good... first room toilet leaking.. so changed to another one which is fine.. but it was so hot that i realised a lot of guests opened window as they do not have air con at all even if it was quite hot in end november.. maintainence people very poor english too

Everything about the hotel was great except the location. It was in the "historic district". Once the sun went down, we were not comfortable in the area right outside the hotel. We were within walking distance to a nicer area...but the hotel was not in a great location.

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights on vacation to see Porto and the Douro Valley. We had a great stay and would definitely go back. The hotel is very convenient for city center Porto and a short walk down to the waterfront/old part of town and across the bridge to the Nova de Gaia where the Port Wineries are. Taxis in Porto are very convenient and […] inexpensive so if we ever did not feel like walking back up the hill to the hotel, we could get a taxi for ~5 EUR. The hotel staff were always very friendly, helpful, and spoke English. Our room looked recently re-done/upgraded and was very clean. This hotel definitely deserves it's 4 star rating. Leia mais

Only a brief stay, but would be happy to recommend this hotel for it's good location, friendly staff and superclean rooms. We arrived by metro from the airport and once we got our bearings, it was only a 10 minute uphill walk from the station. Very central to all sights of interest.

The Mercure Porto is in a good location, close to the center, shops and restaurants and the main train station. It is at the top of a hill (but Porto is very hilly!!) and there is a tram stop, and the tourist bus right outside. I think it maybe only deserves 3 or 3.5 stars and it wasn't particularly luxurious, but for the price it was good. The hotel is ideally situated with a local bus and tram stop outside which connects you to a very easy to use and comprehensive Porto public transport system. Also very close nearby is the funicular railway which takes you direct to the Ribeira district which is where there are lots of bars and restaurants.The Porto tour bus stops directly outside. […] The hotel stands on the corner of Batalha Square and there are many reasonably priced restaurants, bars and cafes directly on the square. However part of the area looks quite seedy at night with some derelict properties and people sleeping rough and there is also begging. The street next to the hotel is seedy with bars and 'clubs' with curtains over the doorways and the feel of Soho of years gone by.This is a shame as efforts are being made to spruce up the area, .It makes for an amusing look and nothing scary, and it can be easily avoided, The hotel is also at the end of the main shopping street with the Majestic Cafe, Bolhao Market and Sao Bento railway station within 15 minute walk. You are really in Old Porto with its typical streets and houses. The airport is a thirty minute ride on the new Metro from Bolhao station.The beaches are also easily reached. For a convenient city location with acess to everywhere you need it cant be beat Once inside the hotel things are different, the rooms are modern and well equipped,with flat screen tv etc( if a little small for a four star.) The bathrooms make up for this as they are modern, large and well equipped. The entire hotel is very clean and the front dest staff very helpful. The rooftop bar has terrific views over the city. The hotel is very pleasant throughout and deserves its rating. If returning to Porto we can see no reason to stay elsewhere. Leia mais

My husband and I recently stayed at the Mercure Porto Centro for two nights and we both thought it was a great hotel with friendly staff and very clean rooms. Typically in Europe, hotels rooms tend to be on the small side, so we were extremely pleased when we walked into our room and noticed a sizable bathroom and a room big enough to walk around in […] with our luggage open on the floor :) The hotel was very conviently located: 2 minute walk to the shopping district; 5-10 minute walk to the port area and main tourist sites; 5 euro cab ride back to the hotel from the port area. Just an FYI, Porto in general is very hilly, and of course there is a steep hill that leads you to the hotel from the metro station, so dragging our luggage up the hill was a bit if a task ... But that's no fault of the hotel :) All in all, it was a very pleasant stay for us. Our only complaint was that we didn't give ourselves enough time in Porto! Leia mais

Great location, clean rooms. The only issue I had was the staff had a hard time accomadating all the people eating breakfast in the morning. Other than that, great place to stay.

We were given a suite(we booked a double room) coffee maker and giant bed for an excellent price. The area was great for the shopping area-market, fantastic pastry shops, train station and not too far a walk to the river.

My friends and I recently stayed at Mercure Hotel in Porto. The minute we arrived to the hotel everyone was so helpful and answered all our questions. They recommended a nice traditional Portuguese restaurant and made reservations for us as well. The staff was pleasant the entire time we were there. Porto is disappointing in that is very dirty. Hotel was fine , staff very helpful but location is a bit depressing. To get to the better parts of town there is a short walk or take the funicular if you can find it. Not clearly signposted at all to go down to the river. We were delighted with this hotel, the staff and the location (near the train and metro stations). We would recommend it!

Overall the hotel was modern and the room was spacious and looked recently rennovated with excellent beds. The staff were helpful and eager to provide info. The breakfast was very good as well. The location was OK but it takes a rather long walk to the historic centre, most of which is on hills hence rather tiring. It is close to the shopping area […] but apart from that not much more. The car park of the hotel is limited, but there are some public parkings (for 7-10 Euros per night) very close by. I recommend that you take the Iberia parking (on the right hand side as you drive - a bit difficult to see as it is behind a corner) and not the Batalha one (one the left hand side). Leia mais

Decent hotel for the price. Location is perfect. Staff is helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean.

This hotel is located in a very central location and has some very nice cafe bars within yards of the hotel door. The hotel is very nice but the lifts need upgrading. Overall a very confortable hotel in the centre of Porto but be aware of the steep walk from the merto station.

This hotel gets the job done well - not too fancy - not too spartan. Very clean rooms with simple modern furnishings, and a friendly and helpful staff make this an excellent tourist hotel. If you are traveling to, or departing Porto by train, the location is perfect - just a short walk up a very steep hill (though there is a tram) from the Central Train […] Station. The hotel is situated in a bustling plaza filled with cafes and shops - and city tour buses stop here too. You're just two streets away from the famous Cafe Majestic (worth a look and a bite) and the charming waterfront and Port Wine Cellars are a short taxi ride away. Highly recommended! Leia mais

hotel was great! Good size of room, friendly staff and just great location. Perfect spot to explore Porto.

If the Pestana on the waterside is a little too expensive the Mercure Porto Centro is a very reasonable alternative. Didn't eat here, except for breakfast, much better down at the waterside or for a special treat try the restaurant at Taylors lodge.

VERY convenient to bus station (can see it from the exit) and near the waterfront and port houses (5-10 EUR taxi ride). WiFi is not free, but that seems to be the trend throughout much of Portugal. Room is very simple, but you should be out and about ... not in the room.

The outside of the Hotel is not particularly prepossessing. It is rather hidden away in a corner of the square. However, service is very good, and front-office staff very helpful. The location is excellent for easy access to most parts of the City. The cost was very reasonable for the class of hotel.

They make you think the breakfast is free but they ask you when you check out how many mornings you had breakfast and charge you 8 Euros per person. Other than that, a nice hotel in a good location.

Being part of a well-known chain, Mercure does not present any surprises, good or bad. Our room 604 was spacious, clean and well appointed. Best of all was that it had a wonderful view of the old city, through three room-width windows. Not overlooked at all, even from the far distance, so no need to worry about closing curtains. This room is twice […] the size of any other as can be seen on the emergency exit hotel plan on the back of the door. Reception staff were pleasant, cheerful and very helpful and, luckily for us, spoke good English. One thing we had to push for was to have the mini-bar emptied so that we could use it as a fridge, although this was not a satisfactory solution - too small and not tall or wide enough to take a bottle of wine. The hotel spec on this website claims that there is a fridge and also a mini-bar in the room, but this is not the case. In fact, you cannot even empty the mini-bar so that you can use it as a fridge yourself, because a notice says "you will be charged for any items moved from their present position" - there are sensors, so beware!! All in all, a very pleasant hotel for a week stay in Porto. Leia mais

The hotel was very impressive, and there were many positives to be drawn from the experience there. Near the majority of attractions, but not too close to make the stay too expensive. Incredibly accessible from the airport (25 minute metro @ £2.00 per person). All staff were approachable and polite (spoke reasonable english). Only down-side was the […] view from our room wasn’t great, but expected because we didn’t get a 'special' room. Didn’t try the evening food, but the breakfast was reasonably priced, and enjoyable. Pleasant members of staff. Free internet access. Room kept very clean, matress a bit to hard and TV channel selection not great for Turist.

ケーブルカーの駅、地下鉄の駅、ロシオ駅（シントラ行き）、エアポート行きバスの駅、市内バスの駅、トラムの駅、ツーリストインフォーメーション，スーパーなどにとても近く、便利でした。ホテルでゆっくりという方より、色々なところに出かけていきたいという行動的な方ぴったりだと思います。ただ、朝食はパンが数種類とハム、チーズ、コーンフレーク、飲み物・・・で特におすすめという感じはありませんでしたが、困りはしませんでした。サラダやヨーグルト、果物は1ユーロほどの追加料金でした。

El hotel es excelente tanto en sus instalaciones como en sus servicios. El personal es muy atento. Está ubicado en la zona comercial de Porto. Cerca hay restaurantes y cafeterias a buen precio, que permiten solventar desayunos, comidas y cenas, sin preocupación. Muy recomendable.

Para ser un cuatro estrellas, la limpieza de las habitaciones dejaba que desear, además de que estas eran pequeñas y por lo tanto incómodas. La situación es perfecta, con el metro y la estación de Sao Bento al lado, por tanto en pleno centro. El staff del hotel muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar al cliente.
