Hotel is amazingly located but be ready it's not a quiet location, it's midtown Manahttan so that should come as no surprise. Layla at bcustomer service was awesome! She's having a baby girl soon. Hope it goes well for her. She was friendly and incredibly helpful as was the rest of th staff. Nice small comfortable room...good enough, especially nice […] if your in your room with everything that is happening in New York then why did you even bother. "It's New York.. I guess"
I knew that a "petite" room would be small, but i didn't realize that it would have a double bed, not a queen. Bit small for two. That was probably in the fine print, so I don't blame the hotel. However the comforter was really lumpy, which was weird. The desk chair was too big for the entire room, and it was impossible to move it out of the way unless […] i picked it up and lifted it over the bed. The window didn't have a screen, and our room was on the 20th floor. The closet smelled like chinese food, which was SUPER weird. I was worried my clothes might smell like chinese food after hanging them in there. Luckily for me, they did not. The bathroom was fine, but a little old. Also, after living in new york city for a while, I was well aware that manhattan street parking DOES in fact exist, especially on the weekends, even if it's hard to find. The front desk clerk tried to convince us the best bet was to park in the garage near the hotel for $30 a night (before NYC parking taxes). Found parking on the west side in our old neighborhood, a 20 min walk across town. Not ideal, but it's NYC. Also, there was closer street parking to be found in the exact neighborhood (midtown east) that the hotel was situated. Disappointed that the desk clerk "didn't know" and tried to convince us that "there was really no street parking around." I didn't sleep well, and i didn't particularly like being in the hotel room. Sort of tainted my weekend trip to the city, to be honest. I've been more comfortable sleeping on friends' couches. Granted, it would be more comfortable if it was just ME staying in the room. It's designed for one, i think. But just as a word of warning, it's doable for two, but it ain't comfortable. Leia mais

"Easy, convenient, priced right for NY"
Tough to see the entrace on Lexington - you must go through the Starbucks coffee shop to get to the lobby. Sleep Number bed was so-so, but clean sheets and clean bathroom made the stay very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. $16 to use the Internet in room, but free guest account in the lobby.
We are former new yorkers and longtime Hotels.com members, and with the exception of the quick check-in and courtesy of the concierge desk, found the Radisson very disappointing. Once out of the lobby, we were in smelly elevators, dank halls, surrounded by very thin walls, in a room described as "luxury queen"--the bed was barely a double, the bathroom […] smaller than a closet, with no place to put toilet kits. The bathroom floor was not clean, the tlles were not clean, and the towels were incredibly thin. We did not expect four-star at that rate, and don't expect suites when we go to the city, since we only use the rooms to sleep in. But sleep didn't happen, since the bed was very uncomfortable, the maid was vacuuming the room on one side at 11 pm, and the man on the other side of ours was loudly very angry about something--again, paper thin walls. This was very disappointing for a major chain, in a high-end NYC neighborhood both for business travelers and tourists. "Good location, small room"
This hotel is on a really good location, the room is extremelly small, the toilet was dirty and so old, all the room is old fashion and so small...so expensive for the service offered. i will not stay at this hotel again...

I was completely satisfied with my stay at the Radisson on Lex! The staff was very friendly, and they kept my room very clean throughout my four-day stay. I'm not a fan of Midtown East, but one of my best friends lives in Astoria and I like spending most of my time downtown and it was right between the two. It only took me 10-15 minutes (walking and […] subway ride) to get to the East Village - perfect! Trains are close. There's a Starbucks in the building, so you can just run down and grab coffee in your PJs. Internet costs extra, but I didn't have any problem using their free Internet in the lobby. The gaurd of the hotel valed when I checked in but when I was checking out he said he cannot bring the car our because he has to gaurd the hotel. There is no parking in the hotel and you end up paying a lot.
I am sorry to hear about the issues with the parking. The hotel does not have a parking of its own. Our guests can use the parking located across the street from the entrance. I am very sorry if this was not communicated to you in an appropriate way.

The check in process was fast and the hotel Sushi bar was great - especially Satish who was a great bartender. You could smell smoke coming into the room, though this was a non smoking section. Felt like we got a "cheaper" room on the 3rd floor because it was booked through hotels.com at a discount rate.

"quiet location, good value"
Nothing fancy but good and adequate accomodations in nice quiet neighborhood. Walk to Broadway theaters, movie theaters, Starbucks in hotel and a diner. 24/7 drug store one block away. Problem with room being too hot or too cold.
"Lexington Avenue Radisson"
I travel extensively and this is the WORST hotel I have stayed in in over twenty years. We received the first room five hour after the scheduled check in time and the second shortly before midnight even though the rooms were pre-paid. There were college students slamming doors and screaming from midnight until hotel security finally arrived at 4 am. […] The hotel cafe was filthy and the concierge was less than useless. "Great location, but noisy"
The staff was friendly and very accommodating. Location was fantastic- close to everything we wanted to do- Times Square, Rockefeller Center, etc. Only complaints- we had to keep the air conditioning on all weekend in Dec. because the room was very stuffy and hot. Also, the room was very noisy- we could hear everytime someone flushed a toilet, pipes […] rattling for showers, etc. Wasn't a big deal, but if we were travelling with children or for business and had to sleep, it would have been difficult. Pretty much what al frequent traveler looks for, besides a reasonable price. Good location, indeed excellent in thei case, clean facilities and a comfortable bed. What surprised me is that housekeeing is not aligned with the atmosphere ox good service: mising toiletries and towels, room not completely made up (pillow cases thrown on the bed!). We were very pleased in the end with this hotel. Parking was easy, service was good and they updgraded our room to a very nice suite. It was a tad bit noisy but nothing out of the ordinary for a high rise hotel in NYC.

From the time we pulled up to the hotel to the time we left, everyone was so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We found that the location was great! We walked everywhere except to Brooklyn and the Grand Central Station is just a couple of blocks away. The restaurants in the neighborhood are great! "Room size"
When we booked our room we specified and paid for a Queen Delux. What we got was a Twin small. We were told that we had a Queen delux, we have a queen size bed at home, this was not a queen size bed in the room. The Room was so small my wife and I touching finger tips could span the room. We talked to the Desk Clerk and she indicated that it might be […] possible to upgrade to a larger room. We were moved to a king delux the following day, at no additional charge. Very nice clean hotel. Very affordable for the location. When I found a lower rate Hotels.com refunded the differemce. But...the Lexington Ave. address is misleading. I walked by the property twice before i realized that the Lexington Ave. enterance is through a Starbucks! And, there is no number on the door, no Radisson signage. From the beginning, pulling up to valet to check our car in, to the end checking out, our stay was wonderful. Everyone was so helpful. It was ten years since my last visit to NYC and the Radisson gave me the perfect location to rediscover the city during Xmas. Service was wonderful, that extra blanket was delivered in Manhattan minute. Thank you Hotels.com for making it economicly possible for me to stay in the city and love it.

The radisson on Lexington was convenient to all of our shopping and sight-seeing. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was a little difficult to find. "Great location but everything else was a bust."
Hotel lobby and staff are very nice. Knowing what we paid, we did not expect a large room so the small size was not an issue. We were also impressed with the sleep number beds and large flat screen television. However, those were the only nice things about our stay here. Our room smelled of urine (or public restroom), there was hair on the bathroom […] floor, the television NEVER worked. Took about 30 minutes each time to get it to turn on and the staffs only recommendation was to turn it off for 10 seconds and try again. Our bath/shower did not drain and the rooms were sweltering in the middle of December. We thought it was odd that the window to our room was open when we arrived so we closed it and went to dinner. We came back to a room that reeked of urine and had a temp of 82 with the heat off. It took all night with the window open to cool the room down. I have been waiting at least 20 minutes now for somebody to come and fix the bath/shower. I wouldve recommended this location to a friend for the location, starbucks on site and price but after these issues with the room, it seems as if the staff is trying to pull a fast one on us to see if we will put our foot down on the condition of the room.
