Hyatt Regency Cambridge, Overlooking Boston - Cambridge

Fiquei decepcionado com o Hyatt pois somente após fazer o check-in descobri que não havia café da manhã e internet sem fio (wi-fi) inclusos. Você imagina que um hotel dessa categoria teria essas coisas complementares e não seriam cobradas. Ficarei no Marriott nas próximas. :(

Even though we were in the ninth floor we could hear ambulances and cars passing all night. I think the windows are not sound-proof. This was complemented with some noisy guests. We had to call the front desk to complain at 1 AM, , plus the neighbor doors slammed and the "ding" sound of the elevator, made our night at the hotel a nightmare. Noisy neighbors made me call the front desk who promptly sent the manager up to see me. He was very polite, caring, and accommodating, and he immediately addressed the situation. For the rest of my weekend stay, I didn't hear a peep and could - and did! - fully relax.

My room selection was great. A view of the Boston skyline ws great. Restaurants were great.

I requested a room w/patio that was chair accessiable. In order to enter the patio you have to be able to over come an 8 to 10 inch step. Chiar accessiable?? In order for a chair person to use the gym he or she must take the elevator up 4 levels. Elevator was out of order. Very disappointed.

Lovced this hotel! Always wanted to stay in it and I got a very reasonable rate!! I would come back again!

Enjoyed the stay and the location near Fenway. Beautiful view of the Charles river and Boston. Parking should not be so expensive...but such is life in the city!

Charging $15 for wireless internet is an insult.

We were very pleased with accomadations and especially with hotel.com price for our stay!

Beautiful location, modern decor that must have been stunning when the hotel opened, some 30 years ago. Rooms are impecable, with a very elegant decor. Bathrooms, same. service great. Restaurant looks great but did not use it. Ovenight parking a bit expensive, $ 21 if AAA, 35 if not, NY is worse..... I like this hotel.

Hotel was ok, what one would expect from a Hyatt. The staff on arrival were not very friendly, appeared VERY stuck up. Location is not great for exploring Boston. The nearest public transport is about a 20min walk and the 'free shuttle' was always 20mins away so we never had access to that.

We stayed at the hyatt Cambridge on New years eve and found it to be a very pleasant place to stay.. the room was very nice and well kept and they provided shuttle service Into several location within the city and had an extended check out time for the new year!! If we're going to be spending anymore time in the area I will definitely keep the hyatt […] Cambridge in my mind as a great place to stay in the Boston area. Thanks!! Ler mais

For a short stay the Roomsize is OK for tow. (Self-)Parking is USD35.- per Day. You can leave your Car parked till 16:00 on the Check- out Day. Bed is big an super cosy.

I took my family down to Boston for the New Years weekend and this was a great hotel for that purpose. We had the four of us in one room, which was a bit of a squeeze in two double beds but otherwise workable. We actually enjoyed being outside the center of the city as it meant we travelled around it a little more as well as had a chance to see Cambridge. […] The hotel shuttle was very useful for getting around and amenable to most of our needs. All in all a nice hotel at a good price. I would recommend it as an alternative to staying in a more expensive downtown property. Ler mais

I just want to remind anyone who books this hotel that they have no free Wi-Fi, nor free parking !!!

Pool was very durty.

not fond of the hotel complimentary toiletries (ie. soap, shampoo, conditioner and lotion)... might want to remember to pack your own.

Very nice hotel. If you just relax yourself this hotel would be very nice since it has pool, saunas and restaurant&bar. Very convenient to go out and it's 10 minutes away from Boston downtown.

The hotel is terrific and the staff even more so. I enjoyed my stay very much.

this hotel was wonderful ,everyone cleaners front desk pool workers and bar staff were very helpful and friendly .will defently stay again!!!

Family visit with two kids, who were suitably stunned by the glass elevators and open courtyard area inside the hotel. Requested a river view room at check-in and were graciously accommodated. The pool was too cold for one child, and there's no hot tub, but the workout facilities are better than usual and I enjoyed a run down the path along the river […] across the street. We ended up with free parking on the street behind the hotel, as our ski rack didn't fit into the garage. Trader Joe's and Starbucks are walking distance. Hassle-free and fun visit. We did not use the pricey dining facilities, as there are so many excellent options in Cambridge and Back Bay. Ler mais

The value was there the rooms were clean the staff was nice and helpful.

We continue to go back to the Hyatt. We have never been disappointed!

I think I am not a difficult person, but if I pay Hyatt (or nearly Hyatt) price, I expect Hyatt quality... 1. The room was great, but the heating/air conditioning had the noise of a jet propeller. Not even in a * hotel you could see that. 2. My company reserved the room for me. I arrive one day in advance and I had to leave one day later. When I arrived […] at the reception late night, I was in this awkward situation to ask for the full rate and for the difference in price (I was not aware of that) and the person at the reception told me he could not provide this information. I had to extend my staying and, despite the difference in price with hotel.com was $10 less than the normal rate, the lady at the reception kindly told me "go to hotel.com and book from there". Which is an extra half an hour to connect, check, give credit card etc. At that point I decided to book the extra day from hotel.com and add the $10 to the tip for the housekeeping, who arranged a spotless room. nice and spacious room but the bathroom was ordinarily small! The staff were friendly, and the room service, the swimming pool and the fitness center were just terrific!

First of all, this would have been posted much sooner, if the hotel hadn't wanted to charge $13 FOR wi-fi. It's not even free in the lobby. The hotel was nice enough, and fairly updated. unfortunately, with the large open atrium style meant that on Friday night whatever seafood was being served in the restaurant created an almost unbearable smell throughout […] the entire hotel. Fish might smell fine when you have chosen it as an entree to eat, but not when you are trying to go to your room. It was overpowering, but luckily it did not permeate our room. that might not have been the case if our room was facing the atrium. The location of the hotel was okay, but its not really in walking distance of much. Parking is very expensive -- $35 a night. The second night we discovered that we could easily and safely park on the street behind for free. The rest of my review has to do with the fact that we were travelling with small children. We chose this hotel because of its reasonable price and because it had an indoor pool. The pool and fitness center were a fair distance from the main hotel which made getting there a bit awkward and chilly, but no big deal. The pool was fine, but not great for little kids. Its set up more for exercise than recreation. Its a 4' deep pool with 3 or 4 lanes. There was one lane set aside for children, but only a ladder and no steps, so if your kids are under 5 like mine, the water will likely be over their heads. The other thing that made it difficult with kids is that the nicely remodeled room no longer had a tub. It was a very nice glass shower stall, but I was expecting a tub. Ler mais

They get with a low room rate and then charge for every little thing- next thing you know the will be charging for the soap and towels! Room smelled like stale smoke on a 'no smoking ' floor.

This hotel was moldy smelling in the halls and room. The pool was cold. The room had someone else's garbage under the bed. Will not return.

This was a great hotel! The staff was very nice; we were upgraded to a river view which was beautiful, and were comped for parking and internet fees since we waited 3 whole minutes to check out. The room was modern and clean, and the bath/coffee area was around a partition which kept out light and noise. Only complaint was no fridge/microwave. The room was great and the location was excellent for MIT. Parking is not secured and costs $35 per night. Internet is pricey too. the health club is nice too but oddly configured (at the top of the patking garage).

Hotel entrance looks nothing like the photo in your promo. Entrance is towards the back of the main road and looks very poor.

In Boston for the weekend to attend a sports event at Harvard. This was by no means the cheapest option, but despite its recent refurb. the hotel just seems tired. For example, the air in our room was incredibly noisy. And the fan only had the one setting - blasting - even though the control promised a low option. The cold tap in the bathroom just produced […] a driddle. The TV picture was bad and there are no controls available to adjust it. And despite the high price, everything is an add on. Extra for parking, extra for wifi, and you wouldn't believe what they wanted for a cup of coffee in the morning. We won't be going back. Ler mais

Very close to MIT and on the banks of the Charles river. Staff was very helpful. Room was nice but not spectacular. The breakfast buffet had a mix of good and bad food at usual high hotel prices. Overall, I was satisfied.

I come here twice a month and it is the best place in town. Their onsite Gym is very nice.
